I enjoyed this on release, and decided to cellar a couple of bottles. Note the screw top. This is still fresh, and it retains its moderate sweetness. I think that there should be no rush to drink well-stored bottles.

Having visited Cakebread, this is one of the most high-tech producers that I've encountered. This is a rich wine which is a good match for food. I have no doubt that this has at least five years left in its peak drinking window.

This is a big, rich wine with lots of viscosity. Drinkable now, and a great match with rich dishes. I enjoyed it with sea scallops poached in white wine and butter. Highly recommended.

This wine is not from Sardinia, it is from Calabria

Excellent value for the modest price. This is much more viscous than I expected.

This is a great value, easily the most outstanding inexpensive white wine that I've enjoyed in the past several years. It's surprisingly rich and viscous. It went well with some tinned Portuguese fish and a bowl of Caldo verde made with collard greens and kale from my organic garden.

The freshness of this wine has faded. It should be consumed now.

This was very nice, but it was totally outclassed by a pristine bottle from the 1976 vintage. The 2016 seemed simple compared to the complexity and layered nuances of the 1976

This is very balanced. My suggestion is to let it breathe. When it was very cold, the flavor was muted.

Tobacco on the nose, fennel on the palate. This wine is vibrant, and there should be no rush to drink it. I've enjoyed every bottle of Snowden that I've encountered. The cork was just fine.

I rarely comment on what I drink, but this was a special bottle. I was reading an old article in "Wine Spectator" about Gaylon Lawrence, and it made me think about pre-Parkerized California red wine, something that I enjoyed greatly decades ago, prior to Parker's ascendancy. While this bottle had a bad cork, the wine was balanced, fresh, and vibrant. Drinking wonderfully now, with a tobacco-leather aspect, it has years of life left. I decanted the wine, and it was superb after a half hour. Very highly recommended and indicative of what was lost through the influence of Parker's distorted palate.

If Jura wine is an acquired taste, I've acquired it. Age has had a positive impact on this bottle. This is subtle but wonderful.

The texture is almost creamy. The spiciness is forward. I have a couple of more bottles; I with that I had a lot more. Nose is a bit faded.

This was a recent purchase and represented to be ex-chateau. The cork was in terrible condition. Three other bottles that I purchased at the same time had intact corks.

Lovely. Purchased upon release and stored in my cellar ever since. I Audouzed this rather than decant, and that was a good approach
