Drinking at its peak, I feel. Came out of sleep since last bottle about a year ago when it was confused and disappointing. Drank with David and Betty in Tahoe. Exceptional balance of fruit and tannin, supple-old school. Ode to Andre.

Peaked and going down the other side.....sherry in the nose, edges showing brown tinge but still a very nice wine, cherry fruit forward, sophisticated tannin structure still in place.
