Tasting very nice right now. Full of dark fruit with plenty of backbone. It benefited from being decanted for an hour before drinking.

Very good! Great cherry flavors with a hint of forest floor. Drank with a sautéed duck breast, wild mushrooms and truffle polenta and it was a great stand in for a Burgundy.

This is a nice domestic yeasty sparkler. Drank with the classic combination of oysters on the half shell and it didn't disappoint. I could easily quaff this anytime of the day.

Heavy cocoa aromas with chocolate on the palate. The alcohol is starting to show through with most of the acidity gone. You're gonna wanna have this one with food.

This is my current house wine. Cooked fruit and prune on the nose. A well balanced, simple, and approachable wine. Eucalyptus, bell pepper, and prune coats the mouth with a long finish. Drink now!

I tasted this at the winery and it is very sweet which is not my taste. Leans towards cola, raisin, licorice, and chocolate without much balance. I would pair this with a chocolate dessert and not food. Not what I would expect from a Ridge Zinfandel and I'm glad I tasted it before I opened to drink with a meal. Tastes more like a late harvest wine or port then a Zin.

A little tight with big tannins, bit opens up beautifully after decanting showing nice fruit and good balance. A nice alternative to most California Zin fruit bombs.

Big fruit bomb! Blackberry, black cherry give this wine a juicy character with a hint of chocolate. This wine is ready to drink now and I wouldn't hold on to it too long. Drink on its own or with meat or cheese.

Taste of over cooked fruit, prune, chocolate, white pepper, and a little forest floor. A big wine for a pinot. The grapes may of stayed on the vine a touch too long. The slight acid finish helps to balance out this wine.

Bright cherry and alcohol on the nose with a little barnyard. Viscous stewed rhubarb and cherry cough syrup flavor with full fruit forward notes. Lacks structure and tannins. I wouldn't hold onto this for too long. Heat on the finish from the high alcohol (15.6%) with a little cinnamon spice.

Pale red color. Earth, mushroom, cherry on the nose. Cherry cough syrup flavor with cloves $ cinnamon. A lot of heat for a Pinot (14.1% alcohol). Burgundian (very nice!). A little time in the glass opens it up a bit. Nice balance, some bottle age should balance it out.
