wow! This wine is even more impressive than our the last time we had it! Lots of excellent cherry with just the right amount of earth. Nice long wonderful finish. Glad we still have another bottle!

Given the age on this Gris we weren't really expecting much but we were very pleasantly surprised. Still tasting quite good. Nice pear flavor and enough structure to make it interesting.

Took a few minutes for this wine to open up in the glass. Once it did, it was quite good. Nice cherry. Finish seemed a little short.

Don't know if this bottle was past its prime or I just didn't like it. Very minerally with little to no fruit. I actually questioned whether it was slightly corked but others in the group didn't think so.

We generally love Rockblock Syrahs including Carpenter Hill, but this one was either over it's prime, or just not all that great. Didn't have that big jamming flavor that we have grown to expect. Disappointing!

It was interesting, we opened two bottles of this wine at the same time and they tasted very different. Both good, however one was softer with more dark fruit. The other had much more bit to it.
