Weak nose. Slightly savoury/animal.

Some tomato on the palate. Slight acidity, moderte tannins.

Overall, wine continues to mellow but flaovr is weak. Wine is now drinkable (barely). There are far too many better options to waste time with this wine.

Strong berry on the nose. The sweetness was bubblegum with a little vanilla/cream. Robust aroma.

Immediate dark berry on the palate followed by almond.

Some acidity late on the palate. Little tannins. Medium finish.

Good body and moutfeel.

Overall, a delicious wine. Not a typical merlot. Very approachable and food friendly, yet has just enough complexity of flavors that makes think... Delicious with a bolognese style ragu.

Strong berry and some earth when pouring into decanter. Very fresh earth when tasting - vines, greens. Very intense aroma.

VERY robust flavor - oak and vanilla. Cocoa on the finish. Smooth texture.

Excellent pairing with a smoked leg of lamb.

Overall, a well balanced wine with tremedous aroma and flavor. Ready to drink now, but I am also saving a bottle for a few more years (just to see what happens).

Very deep garnet. Red velvet cake on the nose, with a little black fruit.
Very smooth texture, like pouring milk over carpet. Lots of body. Flavors of marscapone, buttersctoch and some wood on the end. A little chocolate as it opened up. Slightly tannic at the end of the long finish.
Paired great with hickory smoked beef briscut.

Color had a nice greenish hue. Hints of bread and yeast on the nose. Moderate aroma showing some age. Great balance between dry/sweet. Full bodided with a good amount of acidity (particularly on the finish, which lessened as the wine opened up). Slight floral on attack that gave way to a refreshing rock/mineral mid palate. Very smooth, almost creamy at times.

Great for a hot summer day. Still has some time if you are saving. Great flavor. I would let it open a bit.
