Beautiful right from the start, but it really started to shine after about an hour. I am not sure if it will get better with time. But at this point, don't believe it's worth the risk. The downside is greater than the potential upside. Drink up and enjoy this wonderful Washington State blend.

Outstanding, beautiful hint of butterscotch on the nose. Long finish with wonderful minerality. I will hold this for next year and drink my 14’s first. The price has almost doubled from the 2014’s.

Another beautiful effort. Soft golden delicious apples, a touch of peaches and a little saline on the back. The heat was a little high for my tastes. Think about drinking this up over the next two years.

Decanted and with the first glass, the heat was high. Now after 2 1/2hr the heat has mostly dissipated. Slight bricking is visible. Lot's of back pepper in the nose. The oak is well integrated and not hugely noticeable. All together a nice wine. I would recommend that you drink up sooner rather than later. This is a half bottle.

Outstanding Merlot, This was the hit of the evening. A little hint of spice, lot's of warm dark fruit, big in the way it fill the mouth. This is huge.

Sadly my only bottle.

Full pallet with blackberry smoke and a hint of black pepper. If this was blind, I would almost guess premium California Syrah with a little age. Always amazed with this wine, each year it gives us something special.

Sadly, it looks like the Champoux Vineyard has been sold and Soos Creek will no longer be making this wine. Paul Champoux's retirement and the new owners will be keeping the production for their own wine.

Reviewing the critics tasting notes, it looks like the Ciel Du Cheval and the Artist Series are a good choice to search out. This may be difficult in British Columbia.
Drink up on this is 2008 vintage.

A little research on this wonderful verities.
Comprised of 100% Vidadillo grapes. With only 2 other producers in the WORLD - this particular grape is also known historically as Crespiello. It's an ancient and virtually extinct dark-skinned variety found in Cariñena, northwestern Spain.

Great old school Bordeaux, lots of leather, a hint of barnyard
and cigar leaves. Soft tannins with a silky body. Drink now or hold for a couple more years, but I think that would be pushing it. Really no need to wait.

Crazy young, lay this down for another 3yr min.

This is a big boy. Immediately accessible - but built for the long haul. This is like Grand Cru Burgundy at a fraction of the price. Bug, fruity, elegant mineral, spicy and a finish that lasts a lifetime.
