Glides into an elegant and graceful medium bodied palate with cassis, blueberry, sweet blackberry, nutmeg, pipe tobacco. Finishes with a complex reprise of fruit with a hint residual of sweet tannin. Just a lovely expression of Napa Cab. Dbl decanted 2+

Rushes in with full flavors of green apple, kiwi, tropical fruit and sharp mineral with a very refreshing acidic backbone. Oak is prominent on the long, complex finish but is balanced with creamy citrus notes and spices. Well done. Will be purchasing more of this

Not much here aromatically. Body is medium. Clean flavors of tart black cherry, cranberry, mint, spice and mineral. Acidity is there but is minimal. Finishes well albeit without complexity but it notable for it's balance and purity

Deep garnet color with no apparent oxidation. Sweet nose of crushed red fruit and spice. Soft profile. Medium body. Blackberry, boysenberry, cranberry, cherry with just a trace of spicy oak. Tannins fully resolved and integrated. Overall, balanced and elegant though not particularly complex or exciting. Fully mature but should hold short term.

Cherry, mint and barnyard on the nose. A rush of bright black and red fruit greet the mid-palate along with cola, cranberry, spicy rhubarb and trace sweet oak. Medium + body. Finishes
with balance and grace though lacking much nuance or complexity. Last bottle

Very solid effort here as usual from this producer albeit from a less than stellar vintage. Shy nose, but big flavors of tropical citrus, mint, white peach, flint and herb. Really fills the back end toward the finish with body and more fresh fruit notes. Doesn't seem to have the acidity and verve that would suggest much more cellaring would be beneficial

Muted scents of peach and wet stone. Broad and generous on the midpalate with deep creamy flavors of ripe green melon, citrus rind, flint and saline. Finishes with abundant oak notes that just avoid being obtrusive and fat. Not sure if time will benefit as there seems a lack of acidic backbone here

As advertised, on the lighter side for CA PS.
Black cherry, pepper, plum, matchstick and dark berry fruit carry the medium bodied frame through to a smooth, pleasant albeit short finish. Not disappointed with this in any way but also don't see much benefit from aging this much longer

Pleasantly aromatic especially upon initial opening. Deep flavors of currant, plum, black pepper, spice and toasted oak are balanced through the med-full frame. Finishes a bit short but with a nice reprisal of black fruit and touches of oak. Flashes some fine, dusty tannin as well at the close. A very good QPR and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again from this producer in strong vintage years. Mature. Drink or hold short
