Not deeply aromatic but the flavor profile shows some nice muted briary red and black fruit with touches of mocha and white pepper.
Finishes with some chalky tannin and traces of oak. On the young side for sure but enjoyable tonight. Hold

Great magenta color in the glass with no apparent sign of oxidation. Beautiful aromas of briary red fruit, cut roses, wet earth. Medium-full midpalate with stewed red and black fruit, black pepper, sweet oak and baking spice all in impressive balance. Finishes just a bit on the short side but with flashes of nuanced complexity and structure

A very pleasant red wine with fruit forward ripe dark berry, smoked meat, herb and black cherry. Tannin is still prominent through the midpalate suggesting a little further time might be warranted. PnP

This years version is a bit more off dry than vintages past. Sweet stone fruit and mineral dominate with a rather simple mid-palate and short sweet finish.

Surprisingly still tasting quite primary with loads of jammy dark fruit, blackberry, smoke and sweet herb. Big mid-palate with a rich long finish.
Decanted 90 min. I'll hold remaining bttls for a few years

Kinda a fat, oily, oak mess to be honest. A little bit of fruit and wet stone hints on the midpalate then a finish with just a flash of citrus, spice and apple

Med-full palate with complex notes of red berry, spice, blueberry, stone and a trace of black pepper. Finishes in balance with nice length. Drinking fabulously. Glad I have one bttl left

Controversial wine. Put me in with those who found this wine off putting. Last of 2 bottles both of which were bad. Tasted like a wine with heat damage, nothing like what I had in the tasting room. Based on similar notes on this site makes one wonder if some of this wine has been sold cooked

Sour apple, green melon, white pepper and tropical fruit hold firm on the fleshy mid-palate. Agree with others that this comes across as somewhat one dimensional and angular. Decent but not really memorable imo

As typical for many Sonoma cab this has a rather soft profile for CA cab.
Dark berry, herb, dill, forest notes carry the balanced palate to a shortish and uncomplicated finish. Further short term cellaring might show modest improvement. Overall, a nice effort

Reprises the flavors through the long finish adding the slightest hint of integrated oak. Very well done. Drinking fabulously now but really looking forward to see how this develops
