7/4/15, 1:11 PM - Not too long. 30 mins are sufficient.
3/11/15, 5:05 AM - I don't think you can. In this particular case this was a lot of several case for which the purchase date was known.
3/7/15, 12:48 PM - About 7 minutes I think ...
3/7/15, 2:49 PM - I have come to think that a quick double decant is best and then give the wine some time in the glass to open up. In any event, this bottle was not as spectacular as many of the previous ones.
11/24/14, 2:44 PM - ooops
11/17/14, 9:29 PM - It was in Paris. I can look up which one if you are really considering,
8/14/14, 4:13 AM - 08 and 09 are indeed flat out spectacular. The 10 is really good I just thought the minerality could have been better balanced off. You can almost bite the lava ash.
3/10/14, 5:57 AM - Old Riesling and food is not easy in my view. I prefer to drink it between the courses! But this did go pretty well with the lobster salad I had and my wife did not mind it with her foie gras.
11/28/13, 1:40 AM - It drinks so beautifully right now but I don't see it decline for the next 10 years or longer.
9/24/13, 9:26 AM - Damp cloth would probably describe it best. Had another bottle from the same batch a few days later and that was just fine.
9/9/13, 5:25 AM - Yes, although the sweetness is not very pronounced anymore.
1/20/13, 11:10 AM - Thanks - I think all three bottles that I had were nice, but I had one at a restaurant last summer that was really murky and not good.
12/25/12, 1:42 PM - Thanks. Will keep trying.
12/17/12, 1:34 PM - Pawpaw may be a bit too colonial and British ... papaya is better.
