Opened at a restaurant dinner with friends. One of the best chards I had. Zesty , fruity, great acidity , a little butter, all integrated into a beautiful cohesive whole.

Light red in color. Nose of fruits Lots of fruits on the palate at first, but with time the fruit is integrated into more harmonious fruit/acid balance. Medium plus acidity with medium plus finish. Light tannins. Delicious

This was very nice. Notes of pears and apples with a hint of bitterness. For the money still prefer Aubert, but this is a nice change of pace.

It was too sweet. I am sure many will like it due to its cloying nature, but the sweetness just overpowered all else.

This was great. A crowd pleaser. Fresh, crispy and full at the same time with notes of apples and pears on the nose and tart lemons on the palate. A definite buy.

No rating. The color was saturated red, great nose of berries, but a little too sour on the palate. Two other guests did not like it other , but the third one loved it and could not get enough. Just goes to show the difference in palates.

Somewhat cloudy pale color put me of at first, but the great nose gave me hope and the palate confirmed the nose. I really enjoyed it ( my wife did not ). It was a perfect combo of earthiness and cherries. Excellent acidity and long finish. A definite buy for me.

It seemed out of balance. It was “hot” on the palate and this was dominating the fruit and the acid.

Pretty tasty , but not as complex as the previous bottle. Lacks some of the strength and spice of the previous bottle. Fairly light. My wife thought it was a Pinot. Could be past it’s peak, but still delicious.

My last bottle. Purchased on release. Now wish I would have purchased a case. Just returned from Napa where we had tastings at Mondavi To Kalon and Opus 1, and this cab just blows these out of the water. Poured in the decanter and drank over 2 hours. Such power and finesse rolled into one. Amazing nose and palate. Perfect combo of fruit and acidity. Long finish.

Black fruit on the nose and palate. Wine is well integrated and smooth, becoming smoother as time went on. It was a bit lacking in acidity and complexity. While I liked the wine , I did not think it was worth a $125 price tag paid at auction.
