Smaken følger ikke helt opp selv om den fortsatt er god. litt tørr finish.

Medium red-orange colour. At opening muted, hints of red fruits. One hour in the glass it opens up, revealing red cherries, hint of raspberry and herbs (anise or sweet liqorice?). still more air added mint (mynthe) some muted tobacco tones (cedar box), pottery and maybe roses.

Abundant tannins, completely dominating the first seconds, good acidity as well. When these first attacks are over, the fruit comes as dark cherries. Long finish. 18/20p with lot of potential

God duft. Startet litt sur og tverr i smaken og det tok litt tid før den åpnet seg. Ble betydelig bedre utover kvelden. Har to flasker igjen, de bør nok drikkes snart.

Again cherries, plums and chocolate. This is as close to its peak as can be for my taste, perfect balance between fruit and tannins. Only bottle we had, unfortunately..

Golden yellow colour. Citrus, seafood, chalk and hazelnuts on the nose. Fresh, but still a bit creamy, citrus and apple, after a while some nutty tones. Long finish with lime tones. Amazing wine, and another fabulous display from Hubert Lamy. 17.5/20p

Deep, dense red- orange colour. Blackberries, vanilla, coffee and chockolate aromas. Lots of fruit on the palate, black cherries, blackberries, liqorice and dark chockolate.

Much more pleasant drink compared to 2 1/2 years ago. Has opened up, and is really enjoyable now. 1 hour decant before dinner, and has been silky smooth during the entire evening.

Second wine in a short time, just to finish off the last few ones. Drinking very well right now, very pleasant, and kept the fruitiness throughout the bottle. At par or better than previous bottle. I see Timmyr below mention bottle variation, and I would agree to a point. I bought six of these bottles, and have one left after these, and the range has been from very good and consistent to dry - falling apart after an hour or so. I would say that 4 out of the 5 so far has been from good to very good, with one bottle giving me nothing. Will finish off the last one on short time...
