This was a 3 liter bottle which we drank over three days with gassing of bottle at the end of each evening. Each evening started with a one hour decant. The wine continued to improve each evening. Started with a 92, then 94 and finally a 95. Throughout the three days, the finish was full bodied and medium to long. Not a huge nose but overall the wine was extremely well balanced.

Dark fruit. Very smooth, nice finish. Sorry don’t know all the right words but very good. Will definitely buy again.

Very nice. Popped and poured. Beautiful color, soft floral nose with hints of lavender, longish finish. Would definitely purchase again. Good qpr.

After opening and an initial taste, recorked and drank the next night. All comments are per day 2. Incredible nose, no need to drink. But when tasted, a full, rich fruit filled experience with a very long finish.

Drank this side by side with the "normal" Donum Russian River Pinot. The Reserve is just more of everything that made the non-reserve great. This and West Slope always deliver. For this wine, the nose encourages you to just smell it all night, but this would be a mistake as you would miss out on the incredibly long finish.

Don't know the right words, but this is a great wine and is drinking very well right now. Very aromatic with a full and long lasting finish. A small amount of sharpness on the finish kept it from scoring higher

Side by side tasting of Clone 4 and Clone 6 of 2009 Beckstoffer To-Kalon, Both decanted for 3+ hours. The Clone 6 was a slight winner based on its more balanced and longer finish.

Wow. Drank this very young, but it still delivered. We are not ones to identify the specifics. However, this wine had a beautiful nose and a pleasantly long finish. Another Donum success. How do they do it over and over??

2 hour decant. It was good but not great. Not much of a nose but a nice long finish. I had expected better.

Low key floral notes, reasonable fruit on palette but a little green, medium to long finish. I’ve had better wines from Gap’s Crown.

This wine was terrific, but the nine oaks version was even better. The blending of flavors delivered by the different barrel components works well to our tastes.

No surprise, the beautiful floral nose was followed by an elegant berry rich taste which continued to evolve during its long finish. Another superior Pinot from Donum.

A terrific West Slope. Fragrant nose and a super long finish. This is why you purchase Donum West Slope. It will be even better in a few years.

Great nose, smooth and long finish, a big cab. Drinking very well now. Best to give it an hour or so decant to let it breath.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), espresso and light toast. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity. Hey, we liked it. Might be better in a few years, but get this now and enjoy it over the next few years.

Tasted on two different occasions. A bit young, but give this a few years and it will be terrific. We like good fruit on the nose and a long smooth finish and this had both of these characteristics. A big, bold California Cab.

This is drinking very well right now. Still plenty of fruit in the nose and taste. Very smooth/long finish. If you have this in your cellar, try it now but save some for more aging.

Decanted for about 2 hours. Soft nose of a Cabernet from this Merlot ( Dark fruits). Balanced taste with multiple layers and a very long finish with just a hint of a tannins that indicate this will only get better.

May have more potential in future, for now it is merely pleasant. Somewhat sharp even after three hours of decant.

Took two bottles to a dinner with friends. Even with an hour of decant everyone was very pleased with this wine. Great beginning, middle and an extended finish. Will be even better in a year or so.

Decanted for one hour. Subdued floral nose of light red fruit with a nuance of cedar. Pleasant but not notable on the palate with a mid length finish. A nice wine but for the price not one I would repurchase.

Deep and dark fruit nose with a very long +60 second aftertaste on the palate. You have to give this time to breathe, plus 1 hour decant. Its great now, I can only imagine how this will be with a few more years of age.
