Good funk with significant Mourvèdre characteristics. A little dry/tannic at first. Opened up nicely.

Wine is drinking really well right now. Soft opening with lots of dark fruit. After about an hour it showed signs of more tannins and stronger flavors like cedar.

Absolutely wonderful wine. Paired it with a large cheese platter for desert including San Joaquin Gold Cheddar (favorite). Sweet like candy with hints of honey and citrus.
