Popped, poured a taste and decanted for about an hour +. NIce nose but can't claim the best olfactory senses to describe. Finished the last drop about 3+ hours later.
The taste just kept on improving, My daughter declared she wanted a bottle for her upcoming birthday (She's well past drinking age) I'm sure this wine will get better with time. Wish I could deliver this in wine speak, but since I have trouble with the language it is best put as
DEEELIGHTFUL.

Drank at dinner alongside a an '07 Rivers-Marie Willow Creek PN.
The latter was lighter and less fruity.
2 of 5 drinking chose the RM (my choice too).
The WH Smith is very good but I suspect there are better pinots for the same price range.

Decanted for about 45 minutes and drank this wine at dinner. It was light and delightful. Reminded me of some better burgundies I've tasted.
We drank this alongside a 2006 WH Smith Marimar vnyd. PN The votes were 60-40 favoring the RM.
Nice balance and not overly fruity.

Opened at dinner about 30 minutes before drinking. It got better and better the longer it was open. It was rich, smooth, soft and velvety. Not quite as fruity as its Napa brother, however. Excellent mouth feel with nice finiish.

Shared this wine among friends at dinner this evening. It's interesting to hear comments from people who enjoy wine but don"t keep up on ratings ot know names. You know its a good wine when everyone either raise thier glass to acknowledge their pleasure or give a thumbs up and comment on how much they like it. such was the case with this wine. It has plenty of fruit and easily has another 5+ years left on it.

I boasted to a friend about the 2006 Mica Cabernet.
they asked me to bring a bottle for dinner, We popped and poured, no decanting, and polished it off with dinner
This wine has plenty of fruit but not a fruit bomb. The longer it sat the more it opened up. I had the good fortune of buing this wine under $50 and
and it is worth every cent and then some. I think it will be even better with some cellaring time on it.
It is basically just a very, very good Napa cab.

This was another of several bottles drunk this year. Popped & poured. This beauty was dark & full bodied with bright fruit exploding in the mouth. A tasty gem. I'm glad there a cople of bottles left in the cellar.

Shared with friends at dinner and they all commented on how much they liked it. None had heard of it. A very delightful PN.

Very Good Stuff.! Fortunately I still have 4 left and they will just get better with time.
Decanted for 2+ hours before drinking. another good example of a Napa cab that doesn't break the bank.

Decanted for two hours and drank over the next hour or so with dinner.
This wine is a very good example of a beefy Napa Cab. I think it will easily age for another 5-6 years.

We had this wine with dinner at Bottega in Yountville. Decanted for about half hour, perhaps not long enough. Relative to other Napa red wines this didn't match up particularly well, especially for the price.

Opened and poured through a venturi into a wide bottom decanter. Knew it would bet better over the next hour or two. It did. I've read many wine tasting notes but still need a translator. This is a delightful example of a Napa, Rutherford to be exact, cab. It should get better over the next 2-5 years. It is hard to imagine anyone who likes cab not likeing this wine a lot. Nice fruit and nice balance.

Shared a bottle with three others at dinner. No feedback favorable or otherwise. This wine came hightly touted so my expectations may have been a little high coning out of the gate.
I think it will get better over time but tasted a somewhat herbal from first glass to last. Improved some over the next half hour or so. I'm inclined not to drink this for at least another year or two. I didn't think the fruit showed well on this one.
Hopefully, time will be kind to this PN.

Wine was starting to show a brown tinge Not sure why but it tasted sweet almost like a concord grape wine. Fortunately my last bottle and it circled the drain.

Opened and sampled a small portion before letting breathe for 3 hrs.
I knew everyone at dinner was going to enjoy this wine. My daughter who has a far better pallet asked "why I had been holding out" on her for so long. Seved with a filet roast and everyone enjoyed. A real crowd pleaser, The wine tasted much better than the first bottle I drank a couple of years ago. Lots of fruit in this wine.

A delightful wine from begining to end. We drank this with a grilled lamb sirloin and it got better over the course of the evening.
Not inexpensive but certainly an enjoyable Sonoma PN. This vinitage will be even better a year or two from now.
