3/30/24, 12:17 PM - Your note strikes a somewhat positive slant. How come the 78 score then?
9/16/23, 10:29 PM - Given your long description, why didn't you rate it?
2/4/23, 2:36 PM - If it were the more challenging 2020 smoke taint vintage I would agree on expectations but I've had some nice 2019s across price points and regions. For this Buena Vista I would have been happy with a well-balanced Bordeaux grapes blend but it was all oak. If you like that oak-influenced Caymus or Silver Oak Alex Valley then getting this at half the price is right up your alley.
2/15/21, 1:18 PM - I agree with your tasting note. Had my last of 2 bottles last night and should have decanted longer, up to 4 hours for best enjoyment.
12/2/20, 2:06 PM - Another CTer PM'd me with similar comments as yours. My perspective is coming from one of, "when did you join the Clio party?" I always loved Clio (since 2006) but lately it has underperformed IMO. I notice that the comments are consistent...big, juicy, easy to drink. True. And while many love that I view it as a negative given what Clio is capable of.
3/24/20, 2:53 PM - Sounds like it was a great tasting. How did you know about it? Did you get on a list? I need to be on this list.
12/31/17, 11:44 AM - 98 points?
6/1/13, 3:04 PM - I'd love to know where you found this for $20...usually it's $40 by me.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
