This was a total surprise. Grabbed it out of the wine fridge without doing any research. I knew at first taste it was something special, but needed to decant for hours. Even better the next day. Dark, rich... decent fruit but far from a fruit bomb: nicely balanced with the tannins, I would call it outstanding. I drank it by itself but it would suit grilled meat well. I need to find more now!

Just a great example of a fruit-forward but very balanced Napa cab. Rich, dark fruit but not a fruit bomb, IMO, due to a nice tannic structure. Surprisingly drank well right out of the bottle but only got better as the night went on. Definitely a crowd pleaser or something to just sip on at home on the weekend. Has a couple of years left at least, but drinking well now.

I can't in good conscience give this 90+ points, but it's one of my favorite sub-$15 bottles of wine out there. Great on its own, but goes with almost anything. Very versatile and tastes better than most wines in its price range.

Really delicious, big, bold wine. Lots of vanilla and oak on the nose. Needed several hours to decant and the tannins were still pretty in your face. Could have held for another couple of years, but still very enjoyable now.

For the price, a very nice "everyday" type of red. Very food friendly.

Very good, smooth, and balanced wine. I really enjoyed it, however I can't say there was anything super distinctive about it. Also, I would drink in the next year... Can't see this getting any better.

This is drinking pretty well right now, but could benefit from another year or two of aging and gain another point-- the tannins aren't overwhelming but prominent. Got better as the night went on. Fruit-forward but well balanced with dry, dusty tannins (in a good way). Probably my favorite Quintessa vintage between this, the 05 and 07.

Good, very light bodied pinot with notes of cherry. Went great with duck breast with a cherry demi glace reduction. Would be good with roast chicken or a rich salmon or tuna steak. Good for the style, just not my thing.

Intense cherry and a little pepper on the finish. Really liked this stuff. Drinking well now but will last another year or two I'm sure.

This is great right now-- if you have it, drink it. It's very rich, with deep red fruit (almost jammy) with balanced tannins. It was good right out of the bottle, but got better during the 2 hours I drank it. It feels like it's at its peak and will probably drink well over the next year or so.

Deep dark fruit, balanced tannins. I find it somewhat French in style (not a bad thing). Really got better after letting it breath for 2 hours.

Really nice. More of the tropical/grapefruit style than the grassy/minerally style, but still very balanced and dry. A real bargain for the price.

This is about as good as it gets. A big, bold, fruit forward Napa blend. But it has that Bordeaux nose and complexity. Well-integrated, chewy tannins. Everything here is balanced perfectly and the finish goes on and on. It's drinking GREAT right now, but has a few years left for sure.

I have had this wine since 2005 and I was purposely aging it, but maybe I left it too long? I haven't had many 11 year old white wines before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was interesting, just funky. The nose was very sherry-like, and we didn't really enjoy it on its own. However, with several seafood dishes it really brought a lot of complexity to the table.

Excellent chardonnay. Complex and balanced, but I've grown away from the oaky/buttery style, which this is. Thankfully, it's not overdone... it's just not my thing.

Nice structure with chewy tannins, dark fruit but the fruit is starting to fade. I don't think this is going to get much better from here. I give it another year in the wine fridge, max.

Orange, Grapefruit, honeysuckle, vanilla, light oak. More acidic than buttery, this is one of my personal favorite Napa chardonnays. Incredible balance of flavors and just the right touch of oak. Not the over-the-top buttery, oaky style, this wine is big but restrained. Excellent by itself or with a nice seafood risotto.

I think you have to rate this for what it is: a relatively cheap, simple, everyday kind of zin. It's jammy and rich and enjoyable. Nothing special but I would buy this again for a weeknight meal.

Very interesting blend. I agree with the other reviewer that pinot lovers will enjoy this, but it definitely has more body than your typical pinot, being a blend like this. Not like anything else I've had from Signorello (in a good way).
