Maybe it is because I haven’t had a cab in a while, but I really enjoyed this one. Very tame tannins very drinkable yet complex at the same time.

Bery powerful nose, as soon as the bottle was open the fragrence of this wine filled the room. Perfectly balanced, light yet complex. The only negative is a bit of burnt toast on the finish, Even with that a wonderful wine.

Delightful wine. Nose of a well aged wine, bit of musty wine cellar, but inviting. Balanced and smoth on the palet strong, but in control tanins that match up well with protiens. Nice lingering finish.

Hadn't heard of this winery but really enjoyed this.. Others talked of mushroom and i can definitely detect it both in nose and palate. Also a lot of leather and pencil.. Great finish.. lovely wine.

The pro is great little bubbles. The con is a snarky taste. The Bottom line a great mixer for mimosa, kirroyale or champagne punch, but not really a stand alone sipper.

While normally a blending grape, Burgess has proven you can make a delightful wine featuring the petite Syrah. lovely strong nose of cherry, and a somewhat tart short finish, but still a great wine for the right pairing.

I have stored this wine poorly. But even with this the wine held up. Smooth integrated tannins at this point . Long lingering finish. A testament to how a great wine can hold up to the elements

Wonderful offering from Round pond. Lovely finish... probably would of had a higher rating if I had stored it better. It was stored outside of the cellar for its first 2 years.

It is hard to miss at any price point with a Mondavi product, Consistency and quality are thier hallmarks. While not scoring top marks, this Oakville Cabernet has all the qualities of a Napa Cab you would expect. Bold grapes, strong tannins stack up nicely with grilled meats. It lacks a little finnese and a tad short on the finish that kept it under a 90 for me, but would definitely purchase again,

Hit on all notes except the finish. This wine comes with high scores from notable sources but because of its lack of finish I am rating a 92. However, with a little more time in the cellar it may score higher. Would definitely buy again

When you pop the cork you can instantly tell your in for a treat. When the nose hits you , the leather pencil and earth let you know what the palet is going to enjoy. A nice long finish completes this wine. It will definitely improve over time, and i will leave the remaining bottles in the cellar for at least 5 years , but if you do open now. I would decant and allow to fully open.

Perfect balance with a nice minerality. Golden clear color, We tasted this against $140 french chablis, and the consensus was that it was a tie.

A truely nice chablis, with soft mineral and a wonderful balance, however we tasted this blindly against a chardonay from Bea vigne, at a quarter of the cost, and no one could tell the difference.

There is much to like about this wine, a gorgeous nose, ,a nice finish, well balanced. my only negative comment is a jamyness that interferes with the complexity that is there underneath.

This is a Pinot noir pretending to be a Cabernet Sauvignon. Light in color light in texture and light in body. Virtually no nose or finish. Glad I only have one bottle of this.

lots of earth and leather. It lacks complexity and finish.

another great wine from the 2014 vintage. I opened this after another 2014 that I truly enjoyed. thin and balanced, integrated tannins, a truely lovely wine. My only complaint is the finish. Don't get me wrong, it is a wonderful and long finish, but it has a touch of some spice maybe clove that adds a strange twing. But still think it is wonderful.

An excellent vintage from Stewart, I almost regret drinking this one because it was so delicious, I know stewart keeps a good library of older wines, I hope they have some of this because it was my last of this year. Still bright, and clear garnet thin , delightful on the nose, and full of leather and pencil. What i also like about this wine is that it is light, not at all jammy. And the finish is long and fine.

Kind of thin, not the tongue coating heavy cab. While there is not a lot of complexity here, if you prefer a lighter cab you may enjoy this.

I would describe this wine as thin and light, perhaps because it was paired with a substantial roast beef it didn't quite hold up. That being said, I really liked the wine, I probably wouldnt pair it against something quite as powerful, Perhaps a duck or pork would be a better match.

Cork was loose but bottle was waxed sealed nonetheless the wine was a bit aireated. Even with this this it was a fine complex wine with a Bordeaux feel. Drank the magnum over 2 days. And enjoyed it all the way.

Got this in a mystery case, but the real mystery is why anyone would buy it. I agree with other reviews of a medicinal nose and extreme fruit forward. Took me 4 days to finish, which is 4 days longer than usual.

Excellent effort by Last Bottle. Obviously made of quality fruit, and a construction that is bold and complex, but not heavy and brooding. It is drinking well now, but will definitely improve with more time in the bottle.

I have had several bottles of this wine, in different vintages and I have yet to be dissapointed. What I really enjoy about this wine is how well the tannins are integrated. Each sip is filled a balance of fruit leather, and pencil.
Drinking well now.

I was previously a wine club member of burgess. I really like their Mountain grapes, They are not as Jamy as the valley fruit. It results in a more delicate lighter cab I truly enjoy.

i believe this is a private label produced by Last Bottle, It is a very nice effort, although a bit too "Fruit Forward" for me. THe thing that hits you immediately upon sniffing and sipping is lots of lucious ripe fruit. Not exactly my favorite style, But if thats what you enjoy this wine is perfect for you. Nicely constructed .

I think the name of this winery is appropriate for this wine. Because the nose is so flowery.

Great sweet flowery fragrent nose, with a light complex flavor. And a nice long finish.

Full disclosure, I am a member of the O'brien Wine Club, so I have a predjudice when it comes to their wines. This Seduction is full of ripe fruit. Deep dark ruby red, wonderful nose, complex and a nice finish. I think this will hold up well for another 5 years.

The Stewart Tartan series, is probably one of the most approachable wines I have tried. It doesn't have the complexity and layers of the Stewart cabs, but if you are looking for an easy drinking crowd pleaser

We did not intend on drinking the whole Magnum, but it was so good it just happened. The Drink by date on this wine was 2021, but it seemed to have a lot of life left in it, and probably would have been even better in 2 years. Tannins were still strong and structure was entact. My experience is that wine ages better in larger format bottles.

Again, I am not a Malbec drinker, but this was my 3rd bottle in a row. It was lighter and thinner than some of the bottles I drank earlier this week. Still had nice nose, lots of leather and dirt, and a nice long finish.
