This was drinking fantastically. Can't see it getting much better and I've had issues with aging my Del Dotto cabs in the past so drink up. Drank with braised beef tacos.

Even better than my first bottle and sad it's my last. Paired great with pork tenderloin and roasted root veggies. Highly recommend this one.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this. The reviews of the last few years said this was well past it's peak but this bottle was still drinking beautifully. Good color without the brown notes on the edges. Good mix of fruit and earth. I wish all the old Napa cabs I dig out of my dad's cellar still had this kind of life in them.

My first of my '08 Obsidian Ridges. Outstanding as always and showing well with a few years on it.

Must be some severe bottle variation because I thought this was a solid Syrah.

Drinking beautifully. Probably near its peak but will last a couple more years. Love this wine.

Drank side by side with the Williams Selyem '08 Flax and the Merry Edwards was the consensus winner. The WS was also good but the Merry Edwards was more full-bodied and better balanced.

This bottle had a nose that was just off. It made me think the bottle was bad but it tasted fine. Tough to get past the smell though. I'm disappointed I only had one as I think this could have been a great Petit and now I'll never know.

Really glad I waited on this one. Drinking beautifully right now. Fruit has mellowed a bit and is nicely balanced with spice. I'm a big fan of the '07 Bella zins from what I've tried so far.

I really liked this wine and wish I had bought more of it when it was on Lot18. A fuller-bodied Gruner thats leans more to the dry side, but explodes in your mouth with minerality, bright fruits, and acidity that paired fantastically with our spicy thai food tonight. Will keep my eye out for more as hopefully this is offered again.

Our '95 Quintet definitely exceeded my expectations! The wine was drinking beautifully considering its age. No funk on the nose and the color was a nice deep garnet, with no trace of that brownish tint on the edges that you sometimes see on bottles that are well past their prime. The wine was definitely very complex with a lot of earthiness and a nice long finish. We paired it with a sirloin and grilled peppers and onions. Went perfect.

Thought it was better when I had it at the winery a couple years ago. Popped and poured at Haute Dish tonight and had a heavy alcohol aroma and the heat overwhelmed the palate. Burned off a bit after an hour but still just ok overall.

Preferred this to the FM Patagonia Barrel Selection that we had the night before. Good red fruit and very smooth finish. I will buy again.

I was disaapointed in this after really enjoying it a couple years ago at the Woodenhead tasting room. ABV is way to high at 16.5% and the heat from the alcohol dominates the palate.

Not my style of wine at all. I expected a fruit bomb but this was way to sweet. The sweetness overpowered everything else. Almost like a thin port more than a zin. I don't understand how WS was so high on this one. Would not get again.

Good chianti at or just past its peak. The nose was a little off but the taste was pure Chianti. Drink now. Paired well with gnocchi with tomato and italian sausage.

Fantastic SB. Much more full-bodied than the typical Cali SB. Expensive when compared to many California sauvignon blancs but great value in my opinion. Worth every penny. Paired beautifully with sea bass.

Very good Syrah. Not much on the nose at first but it opened up nicely after decanting. Big long finish. This is drinking well now but will probably benefit with a little more time in the bottle.

Very disappointing. This is out of balalnce as the tannins overpowered and almost made this almost undrinkable. Didn't improve on the second day and I ended up dumping half the bottle.

Very nice, light Sangiovese (hence the name Piccolo). Lots of fruit on the nose and a very smooth finish. Pairs well with my sausage and peppers.
