Tasted with a group and we agreed this was not a superb showing. I has two bottles before myself - one or two years back - that were superb. Not as vibrant as expected, in fact a bit flat for this pevel. What could be the reason? Or is it simply peaking now which would surprise me?

First of 6. Quite rich on the palate, blackberries, some menthol, tobacco. Rather firm as opposed to elegant. Some signs of maturation already but can hold on for a few more years for sure.

Tart, one dimensional, lacking fruit. Cannot impress me and worst: I have four more bottles which I can't imagine to be better. For 1er cru you'd expect a 2010 to hold on.

Stellar wine, another great example of 05. Very pure, lovely nebbiolo aromas, freshness, juicy tannins and length and depth. Drinks really well now bu can easily be cellared for another 8-10 years.

Very pleasant glass of Barolo. Not so much a tough nut to crack but very approachable, refreshing acidity, handsome balsamic/tertiary notes, tannins mellowed. Clean, well-made.

Still primary fruit impressions, velvet like texture, quite full-bodied. Drinks well now but won't drink any of these until 2019 or beyond, awaiting more tertiary impressions.

Drinks well now, tannins softened, fierce but digestable acidity and developed aromas and flavours - typically nebbiolo ones. I have sampled quite a number of Langhe 2005s recently and this one joins the pack: not big, considerably acidity, drinking well now, elegance over power.

Very enjoyable. Forest fruit, tobacco, some spices, tertiary aromas, tannins gone therefore quite smooth by good acidity level. Drinks well now, cannot see improvement for the future but in my case fine - last botte

Changed quite a git after tasting a year ago: then full of bright fruit, almost tropical, backed by good minerality and acidity. Fruit profile has changed to more green impressions (due to extensive cold soak during vinification to 'impress' during youth?) doing no good to overall balance. Still a decent wine though but doesn't make me jump up and down anymore.

Feels it's at his peak or slightly beyond. Lovely nose but a bit tart and simple on the mid palate and fairly short finish. I had better experiences with previous bottles 1-1.5 years ago and it can't be a storing issue as all are cellared at 12 degrees Celsius.

Better at day one, nose more impressive than palate which leaves a bit of flat impression.

Phenomenal for its price level. Drank really well within a selection of other Rhone wines, this one stood out. Tobacco, leather, bay leaves, garrigues, still some fruit and lovely minerality and acidity, very lively wine probably at its peak now.

Bottle variety amongst my lot of 6 but this one did shine well. Typical cab franc, good fruit, bit funky, some bell pepper but not annoying, freshness.

First of 6 bottles, highly appreciate the wine. Lush, lovely fruit, honey, touch of noble rot, long, keeps good level of freshness.

Feel it has improved compared to last bottle. Tannins have softened, wine shows beautiful tertiary aromas and flavours supported by strong but lovely acidity. This is how I like my Sangiovese.

Delicious wine. Quite different from the regular Rabaja bottles: less space for cherry/raspberry but considerably more structure in return - and the regular Rabaja is already nicely layered. Earth, mushrooms, sour cherries, bay leaves, well developed tannins, great balance despite (or thanks to) many layers of impressions. I prefer 2006 over 2001 which showed more alcohol if i remember well.

Yellow like a lemon (outside), funky, pretty ripe nose with yellow stone fruit and some nuts. Medium bodied, medium plus acidity (little rs?), long, surprising, diverse. Unique in style, great.

Super pqr. Fruit a bit gone by now but mourvedre complexity takes over, lovely freshness despite 09, still in very good shape.

Full bodied, ripe fruit, some residual sugar, medium acidity, long, slate on finish, lacks some tension to be truly great but still an adorable Riesling

Untypical Grauburgunder. Very clean, fresh, not lush (or flabby) like many compatriots. Just 12% and in Bocksbeutel. Yes, we're in Franconia. Pure, medium plus acidity, good length and great value.

Gelbkalk does not mean yelllow fruit but you're getting a lot of that. Good structure, length and freshness. Unlike many other silvaners not many green notes (apple, herbs).

See previous note. Pure Sangiovese impressions. Drinks well now but will hold a few bottles until 2018-19.

Nice stuff. Quite rich in terms of fruit, for Silvaner, ripe, but with good freshness and acidity.

My last bottle consumed probably past its peak. Tannins close to gone, fruit fading leaving a (too) prominent role for acidity. Shorter than previous bottle, could be bottle variety but not glorious anymore.

Lovely. Do not recognize my previous note. Would beat many Supertuscans (I tasted a bunch last week). Great balance, typical Sangiovese, some balsamic notes, tannins softening but still plenty of them. Great length and one of the best values across Italy.

Big wine, very compact upon opening, huge minerality, grapefruit, smoke, slate, very intense. Shines on night two. Has decades more to go. Great, complex and complete Riesling. Remarkably 'cool' geven the vintage

Great value. Cherries, leather, some undegrowth, pepper/spices, structure (mourvedre), absolutely not in decline despite 8 years of age, dense. Last bottle, should have bought more.

First one of a case of 6 bought en primeur. I was pleased with the wine. Medium intensity, medium+ acidity, impressionist of licorice, some spice (petit verdot in the blend). Good balance. Still quite compact and begining to soften a bit. Hold the rest for at least 3-5 more years. Bought for 13.50€ which is definitely good value.

Bought this on recommandation from the merchant. Although I see why people can appreciate a slightly oaked, perfumed viognier somewhat lacking acidity this is not my glass. Good, not spectacular.

Wood sensations have gone now therefore a slightly more appreciative note. Don't expect a big wine, it's slender stuff with cool berry fruit and present acidity. For ?25 i'd buy something better in Germany, but for Burgundy it's a decent effort in this category.

Good wine but cannot see why Decanter once gave it 95 if I remember correctly. Nice volcanic touch, citrus and stone fruit, good balance but not exciting, for the same price I'd rather drink a German white.
