Pure fruit but big time oak has certainty taken away from the wine. Acid minus. Focused and concentrated.

Alcoholic and over oaked to death. Fruit seems to be fine, bit the wine is really disjointed.

Lots of secondary flavors, almost stating to fade, but very round and smooth with Granny Smith apples and yeasty finish.

Very smooth and creamy but super oaked! You cannot taste anything out of this wine other than biting oak. Very low bar for the price.

4/12/13, 11:50 PM - I was not sure if I should get into business if explaining my personal experience with a wine or not, but I thought it is pretty interesting that there are people out there that take on themselves to challenge other peoples personal experience. The fact that the wine has not seen new oak does not have anything to do with its being overoaked. Whatever oak it was subjected to was too much for it. And yes, I tasted the wine out of the decanter the first night and the remaining portion out of the bottle the next day. For the strength of the fruit it was way over oaked. I learned about the scores people have doled out to this wine, just after I posted mine, and boy, I seriously became a believer of sensory variation of human beings, or rather a score of 96 is a huge hype beyond my imagination.
