Full-bodied with acid plus, but hot and alcoholic. Still tight, but I am not sure if this can age well because of the high alcohol.

Dark golden color. Weighty and glycerine-like. Has some saltiness and bitterness to it. Low acidity and noticeable alcohol on the palate. Overall, a good experiment with aging a varietal that yo should not age!

Pure red fruit and raspberries. Ever so slightly brett gives it more complexity and makes the wine even more interesting.

This bottle was very different than the previous bottle that I tasted a couple of years back, and I am not sure if inter bottle variety is the only reason. This one had a whiff of band-Aid type brett, but otherwise was together and delicious. Silky mouthfeel with a pleasant finish.

Well balanced and mature, with ripe fruit. Beautifuly aged and together. Has loads of mushroom, pine and dried fruit mixed with other tertiary flavors. Does not have as much power and intensity to launch it to hight levels, but for the price' it is doing just amazing. Lots of sediment on the bottle side, do not disturb!
