Wow. This should be a wine all Americans try FIRST when it comes to Champagne. Magically balanced notes of lemon, lime, red apple, subtle rock and deep black earth with no hints of bitterness or being overdone in any way. Highly, highly recommended.

A Brut Nature with especially broad notes of everything from light citrus to very subtle dark earth --- rocks, of course. This wine appealed even to my wife who isn't a particularly fond advocate for Champagne! Enjoy.

What a consistently wonderful Champagne from, of course, a HUGE producer. I almost wish I didn't enjoy this wine as much as I do. Excellent notes of red fruits, subtle rock, and even a bit of black earth.

A very nice bottle of Silver Oak Napa with a bit of a "hard landing". Starts off with the classic dark red fruits super well-balanced with earth and rock. The nose is lackluster. Finishes with not much of anything except bluntness, NICE bluntness, but still blunt.

Didier-Ducos is one of my favorite producers in Champagne. Their various wines are always a treat with wonderful and well-balanced notes of raspberries, strawberries, oranges, limes, lemons, rocks, and the subtlest earth. Enjoy!

Bright and peppery in the nose. A subtly complex mix of rock, non-hot peppers, and wonderfully deep red fruit. This changes, of course, with each food dish and complements well with beef ribs, barbeque sauce, beans, and even an asparagus salad. A joy!

An unexpected gift from the Champagne gods! Straight-up yellow color with the same experience in the nose and on the palate: Very well-balanced notes of red fruit (sweet apples, raspberries) with more subtle light fruits (lemons, limes, even a hint of banana?!) --- even notes of mango on the finish. As smooth a Champagne as I've had in quite some time. Enjoy!

Beautiful slightly light gold color. This is one of those bourgougne blancs which is aging spectacularly! This will drink well in another five years, of course if properly cellared.
Linear, rock, very subtle earth, lemon-lime, subtle floral perfume.
Very, very nice.
