Quite young. Double decanted and drank over the course of an evening with steak, which made it very nice.

Shared with Leanne and Denise. A bit of brown around the edges with dark cherry color; nose of black berries; surprisingly young and quite delicious; sadly, my only bottle.

God awful and undrinkable on first evening. Like drinking iodine. Barely a nose. Deep ruby color. Some tanins. Will leave overnight and try tomorrow, but don't expect much.

Decanted about one hour and drank over two additional hours. Truly not my cup of tea. Very nice, rich berry nose; dark as night in color, but otherwise I thought I was drinking a California Syrah, very few of which I have ever enjoyed. I really did not enjopy this at al..

Decanted about one hour and then poured back in botlle for restaurant drinking. Definitely ready to drink, relatively soft tanins, nice deep ruby color, good, but not great fruit, very Pauillac.

Drank over about 4 hours, popped, poured and decanted. Still appears to be fairly young and more closed than I expected. Good deep maroon color. Not alot in the way of fruit, and plenty of tannins. Will wait before trying again.

Brought to Dan & Kims. Unlike other 2004s, only had the opprotunity to drink during a single evening; seemed monolithic and without much structure, but more full bodied than other 2004s; might have improved day 2.
