Wife put one in the fridge, she likes chilled whites, dry and tart without a lot of flavor. I left out on the counter, poured a glass, at room temp very mellow and nice with light fruit, body and enough acid to keep lively.

Light golden straw yellow, bubble gum nose. Off dry with some tartness and stony tannins which with open time and air morphs into a Lucius sweetness, becoming a fairly intense desert wine to rival some of the best from Germany, having a bit of mineral complimenting the rs, wonderful! Not quite so intense on night 3, but still very enjoyable.

Medium ruby with candied cherry nose. Mildly tart fruit with chewy tannins. Some more time for the tannins to mellow and integrate will result in marked improvement. Good now in its primary state, give a couple more years.

Medium ruby, light fruit nose. Lightly tart fruit, clean acid, light well integrated tannins, smooth mouthfeel, some rhubarb, zesty.
while I like this wine for it's austerity and reserved qualities, I had with dinner less austere a bit lusher So Italian which kept me tasting, when revisiting this again tonight, I kept comparing the restrainedness of this to the other night's. My tastes may have taken another turn. It's not the first time.

Very light garnet, dark rosé with an equally light nose. Lighter, well aged and subdued body. Similar to my first PN I made in the 80's after several years making cabs and was disappointed when they were not more bold fruited. Live and learn, would be interested in how they would compare to the PNs I like to drink these days in a much more restrained style.

Inky dark purple, strong nose of beef blood. Bold, but well balanced with a good acid and tannic component. The last bottle of the original BD buy, consumed over ten years and the last bottle was just as good as the first. Notes say I only bought 2 on BD 2012, must have confused with the 2006, I have moved toward a more reserved wine over the years, still good to revisit an old favorite and an Eric recommend from the early years.

Night three and this is exhibiting a full fruited note of ripe tropical fruits with luscious mouthfeel. Been pairing with spicy beef or pork, but just decided to have a glass as desert wine and had a hard time putting the bottle down.

Bold flavor and fruit, lovely balance and really good for one who drinks mostly Syrah and Pinot noir wines. Drank with a rib roast that was equally good, marvelous paring, WOTN.

Medium ruby, balsam nose, dry medium fruit with mellow tannins, lightly tart and well balanced with a good structure. Unripe Himalayan blackberries, cane tannins and balsam with a long finish. Ron, you are correct, I need to move up market from the basic WV. 13 may be my favorite vintage for the Valley, not as austere as the '11s.

Dark ruby with a light cedar nose. Needed another day to start delivering, pretty closed on night one. Smooth mouth feel with soft tannins, leather and a nice balanced acid, sour sorrel and cane pith. Lightly tart berries. Night three, developing a well aged quality with blood orange, ripe Bing cherries, earth and leather. More life with age in this puppy, time is rewarded.
