Delightful wines which I can’t get enough of although it has a little bit of a tannic back bite to it at the moment. Found the Rouvrettes to be a level up in terms of polish and refinement.

Initially tight with a grippy tannic finish but with decanting it smoothened out. A pretty crazy wine with layers and complexity.

Left a largely drunken open bottle in the fridge for two weeks. Interestingly, it became smooth and rich but not oxidised. I appreciate that the producer used long corks showing his confidence that these wines will age gracefully.

Not quite fully open and yet it gives pretty easy drinking. Has density without being overpowering or heavy.

Violet / purple but drinks lighter than it looks. Vibrant, crunchy, energetic. If only the finish could be longer. Nonetheless, enjoyed. From magnum.

Shows significant density and concentration. Long palate staining finish. Peach fruits. A great food wine (paired this with mussels and pasta). Benefits from lots of airing (better on day 2)

Delicious and luscious on the palate on the first pour. The difference between this and the Wadana cuvee is the pleasant sweetness that comes through with the En Guesnes (both being from the same plot). Resonating pure joy, it is at the same time both charming and energetic.

While it does have a greater shade of ripeness theres still good energy in it. So while there is depth and volume, it is no where near fat. I enjoyed this and will drink more of it.

Concentrated, intense with vigorous energy. Initially was giving off some lychee / tropical fruit aromatics but that blew off overnight and envolved to give lime / citrus tones. A gritty, chalky long finish. This definitely benefits with extended (overnight) aeration.

Leroux's '21s (Gevrey and Chambolle village) are giving so much pleasure but the real surprise was this Blagny rouge which really wowed. Soft and smooth. Domaine rather than negoc grapes.

Giving density, high energy, and a great, long textured finish. Now I really love the '20 Chapitre and it is more open but I sense the Cadot has a little more to it and will reveal itself in time.

Very enjoyable. Finding the smooth textures and pallet abit Tremblay-esque. Less happening on the nose for now though. Nonetheless, really good at its price point.

Been hitting this over a four day span. It's benefitted and blossomed tremendously with the extended aeration and isn't coming apart. Super dense, palate staining gritty textured finish while full of electricity.

Drinking pure electricity (bye bye teeth enamel). Super long finish - I could still taste the residuals twenty minutes later after my first sip. This made a 2011 Lauer Schonfels Fass 11 (which is a great wine) feel rounded and almost clunky.

A sleek smooth feel on the palate and yet at the same time, giving some texture on the finish (as if a contradiction, but...). Electric. Very good.
Perhaps more defined than the 2017's?

Some reductive notes when opened which blows off. High toned, mineral character, yet relatively softer and more approachable than I was expecting for her young MSD.

A light and air style that just danced around a heavier, more concentrated '14 Raveneau Chablis AC. Paul Pillot and Vincent Dancer made great wines for the vintage. This said, the finish was a bit short.
