Consistent with my previous note but fruit flavor seems to be fading a bit, some black cherry, cola, a hint of eucalyptus (my wife got this in last bottle), medium-short finish, probably time to drink if you have any

Decanted about an hour, drank over next 1-2 hrs, served with peppercorn NY strip steak. Blueberry, blackberry, oak, hint of leather then chocolate, a little pepper at the end, low-med tannins, smooth, well integrated, medium-long finish. Overall - we really liked it, a good wine, great with the steak, but we thought a bit overpriced for the quality, maybe passing its prime as another review said.

Lemon peel, pineapple, hint of vanilla, oak, and minerality, pretty good balance, nice acidity and paired well with chicken, medium finish. Pretty good especially for a MI wine, definitely not a big buttery fruit/oak bomb as some west coast chardonnays can be.

Not a bad wine for the price, but not that complex, cherry and strawberry

Lemon peel, some minerality, of oak, not that complex - perhaps past it's prime, still good but not worth the price.

Decanted x 30 min, consumed over next 1-2 hrs, served with NY Strip steak. Nice petite sirah, dark and inky, blackberry, plum, cassis, then a little oak, hint of smoke, maybe touch of white pepper spice at the end, medium finish.

Served with filet mignon, great pairing, decanted x 1 hour, drank over 2 hrs. Plum, blackberry, a little leather, graphite, hint of smoke, tannins mellowing out, nicely integrated, very smooth, medium-long finish, just awesome.

This was our 2nd bottle, and we waited too long to drink, past its prime. From the lingering flavors, and from our last bottle, this was definitely a solid Napa Merlot - score reflective of current state. Bummer.

Very nice pinot, served with salmon - nose of cherries, hint of blueberries and smoke with a floral note; flavors of cherry cola, blueberry crumble, a little raspberry, nicely integrated tannins, smooth, definitely a California pinot but we really liked it

Consistent with previous note, saved it for our 10th Anniversary and it did not disappoint! Sad it was our last bottle, definitely one of the best U.S. sparkling wines we've had.

Really nice, recanted x 1 hr, served with ribeye steaks. Dark fruits- blackberry, black cherry, plums, then hints of leather, dust, and just a little earthiness at the end, soft tannins, medium finish, really good! Great to revisit after so long, can't wait to try the last bottle in a couple years.

Still a nice wine, but agree not the best QPR, similar flavors to previous notes - dark fruits, dark chocolate, hint of leather, very smooth, fruit flavors starting to fade a bit. Our last bottle of 2007, but look forward to drinking other vintages.

Decanted for about an hour, served with NY strip steak. Very nice, great to have a Stag's Leap can with a little age, definitely mellowed over time - black cherry, blueberry, blackberry, a little leather, maybe hint of tobacco, nice tannins that have mellowed a bit, fruit is fading a bit as well, medium-long finish, very nice

Served with lobster, consistent with last tasting note but for some reason this bottle seemed a little more buttery and a little more creamy mouthfeel, still flavors of lemon and honeysuckle, and some oak, nice balance of flavors, medium finish, liked it more this time. Very nice, paired really well with lobster.

Interesting to read the varying notes - I will say Mollydooker style wines are not for everyone's taste. It might sound silly, but I also think doing the Mollydooker "shake" makes a difference - much better when you do it. We did the shake, opened and decanted about an hour, drank over the next 90 minutes, served with grilled ribeye steaks. Surprisingly dark purple/mulberry color, big jammy blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, oak, a little black cherry, hints of white pepper, a little dark chocolate, maybe graphite too, long finish. Tannins and fruit have integrated nicely, alcohol has calmed down a bit. I can't drink this style every day, but a fun wine if you like this style.

Well, I spoke too soon with my last note...just over a year later and this is even better! Similar to previous note and others, but less herbaceous notes now. Really nice, likely the best producer in Michigan.

Agree with notes from BAM_MAN, perfect description from what we tasted, paired great with peppercorn NY strip steaks. Definitely needed time to open up, but I do think this is about peaked and won't likely get much better with more age.

Not sure about other notes/experiences, but the one we had was fantastic! Black cherry, currant, pepper, a little vanilla, leather, surprisingly a little sweet, fairly big tannins, medium-long finish. May be hitting its stride, glad we have 1 more!

Nice Pinot from 2 Lads, likely the best winery in Michigan in my humble opinion. Cherry, black cherry, hints of eucalyptus, cola, graphite, medium(-) acid, soft tannins, short finish, great with salmon. Even better than when we tastes at the winery on release.

Enjoyed this on our 10th Anniversary - awesome wine, dark fruits, some graphite and minerality, firm tannins and acid, medium-long finish. I think it will still benefit from some aging to develop a little more complexity and integration - can't wait to try the next one on our 15th or 20th anniversary!

Decanter about 1 hr, served with NY strip steak. Agree with scottpreston review: overall very nice cab, fairly classic Chimney Rock/Stags Leap, but a little less fruit - may be a little age vs. the vintage. Blackberry, a little graphite and vanilla, just a little basil/herbaceous notes, nice tannins, medium-long finish.

Delicious, one of our favorite Napa chardonnay wines. Honeysuckle, melon, a little meyer lemon/citrus, leads into a little vanilla and oak but not excessive, nice balance and mouthfeel, medium-long finish. Glad we saved some, but wish we had more!

Did the Mollydooker Shake, then recanted for about 30 min, needed a little time to open up - Consistent with other tasting notes: big, spicy, heat from the alcohol, not for everyone but if you like this style it's great, especially for the price.

Addendum- after letting it open for another 1-2 hrs, it mellowed and some of the heat blew off....still good but fruit has faded a bit, I think it's time to drink, not likely to improve

Not sure if we got lucky or if other reviewers got a bad bottle, but this was pretty good - pineapple, green apple, pear, slight mineral notes, some acidity, some sweetness but not as much as we were expecting for a late harvest, my wife got a hint of almond but I didn't, short finish; paired well with baked ham.

Opened for about 30 min, drank over about an hour, served with NY strip steak. We thought this has aged nicely- blackberry, blueberry, a little cola and fig, hint of white pepper, hint of leather, soft tannins, long finish. We really enjoyed this, but not sure it will continue to improve, might be time to drink if you have any.

Tried this at a restaurant, popped and poured, drank over about 1-2 hrs. Not sure if it wasn't stored properly or we had a slight dud of a bottle, but we didn't think this was as good as the other reviews here. Similar flavors- blueberry, blackberry, dark fruits, a little black pepper amd smoke, med-low tannins......but the flavors seemed to mellow and fade as we drank it, it was better when first opened. Overall it was good but not outstanding. At retail price, this is probably a good every day drinker if you like Prioriat.....I wouldn't order again at a restaurant.

We really liked this, but it's still young, glad we have another. Opened and aerated/decanted x 1 hr, drank over 2 hrs with NY strip steak. This is a big wine, blackberry, plum, cassis, a little dark chocolate, vanilla, and eucalyptus, I also got hints of graphite and minerality toward the end, firm tannins, med-long finish. Improved with some time open, bet the next bottle will be even better in several years!

Decanted and drank over about 2 hrs, served with ribeye steaks, definitely improved over the 2 hrs. I feel bad for WINEDR if he/she had 2 bad bottles, this was awesome. Color was getting a little brown around the edges, starting to show some age. Black cherry, cocoa, blackberry pie, a little espresso, some herbaceous notes toward the end, nice tannins, medium finish, just delicious, glad we have another!

Updating my rating with this bottle, similar tasting notes as my last review - not sure if we were having an off night or a bad bottle last time for some reason, but this bottle is more of what I was anticipating, delicious!

Decanted for about an hour, drank over 2 hrs, served with peppercorn steak. This wine was outstanding, not sure if other bad reviews had a bad bottle, bad cork, or something else, but ours was great. Dark fruits with black cherry, fig, plum, vanilla, oak, firm tannins, just a little heat from alcohol but didn't take away from the wine, med-long finish, just delicious and great with steak. Probably ready to drink but may have a few years left, wish we had another!
