I must say I was not expecting a great deal from this NV champagne but was very pleasantly surprised. Good mouthfeel, soft bubbles, not too sweet, and just a hint of apple on the nose and palette.

I find this to be excellent value for money, a great example of Margaux, good nose, lovely fine tannins giving rise to a lovely mouthfeel.

Very nice as with the MANY other bottles of this wine I have consumed, noticed a little more apple on the pallate than Ive noticed in other bottles, and this one was not as cold as I would normally drink, but still just a wonderful white burgundy.

At first opening, clearing the shoulder into a glass reveals a dark crimson colour, the nose is restrained as expected but hints at the dark fruit within as does the palatte. On the second day a good black cherry nose, softer, plumper, as with many good bordeaux patience pays dividends.

What a superb buy!
Once opened you are greeted by a deep crimson colour that when held to the light lets nothing through, upon closer inspection the palatte is treated to a lovely peppery dark fruit combination and the nose a spicebox aroma.

"Unique"
I have not tasted a champagne quite like this before or since. The sweetness centre pallette vs the ginger flavour on the side pallette is hard to match.

Soft fruity bordeaux, great for cooking and drinking alike, and who can complain at 11$ a bottle??? I use this wine mostly for day to day drinking and coq au vin.

What a wonderful wine! Lovely crimons colour, great black fruit flavours on the palate and nose, and a rather pleasant hint of graphite / pencil shavings too, these softened away completely on the 2nd day just leaving a lovely plump black cherry flavour to the wine.
