"Walking the gnarled, old, dry-farmed and head-trained Negrette, Mondeuse, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane, Chenin Blanc and others, one gets a feel for how vineyards in Napa once were. Planted in the 1930s, this is the oldest vineyard left in Oakville.

On the palate, it's medium-bodied with zesty, refreshing acidity and ripe peach, lemon drop, and a hint of kumquat zest with a very appealing chalky minerality and a very satisfying finish. 63% Lodi Chenin, 37% Napa Valley Semillon 12.5% abv. Loved it!

Very pale straw color with ripe pear, persimmon, Key lime, green melon, salted macadamia nuts and a hint of mint aromas. On the palate, it's medium bodied with ample acidity and ripe pear, green plum, Key lime, ginger and allspice flavors with a kiss of saline minerality and a very satisfying finish. 13.5% abv. Lodi Green Certified.

Paired well with Mediterranean Crunch Salad topped with Grilled Salmon

Took this out of fridge to let it warm up for 20 minutes or so, and was welcomed back to lifted aromas of ripe peach, dried spiced apricot, lemon curd, honeysuckle, and toasted almond with hints of brioche and creme brulee. On the palate, it's full bodied with ample acidity and great texture. It shows ripe white peach, baked pear, apricot, lemon curd, baking spice, vanilla and honey flavors accented with a very appealing kiss of salinity.

Amber color with dried pear, lemon peel, walnut, almond toffee character.

“The wine starts at 15° alcohol, spends 8 years as a Manzanilla under a layer of flor (basically the solera of the Manzanilla Solear + 2 extra years as a Manzanilla Pasada). It is then fortified a second time to 18° and proceeds to oxidative ageing for another 6-7 years. The solera system is spread out over several bodegas” explains Rueben of Sherry notes

In the palate, it’s medium bodied and one of the freshest Zins I’ve had with dusty tannins. It shows ripe black raspberry, strawberry confit, dried Morello cherry,vanilla red licorice and spice flavors with a clean, long finish.

Fruit for this wine sourced from estate certified organic vineyard was on the west side Paso. Panted in the 1920s on ancient marine calcareous soils, the vines are head-trained and dry-farmed.

Pale garnet color with enticing black cherry red licorice, white pepper, Chinese five spice, and leather aromas. N the palate it’s medium bodied and very fresh with chalky tannins. It shows black cherry, black raspberry, spice and a hint of leather flavors that ad a very appealing bit of savoriness to this wine. Long spice finish.

The grapes from the vineyard were split into two lots–one was pressed at dryness, while the other saw 30 days of extended maceration on skins to help round out the classic Amador tannins (a technique we usually reserve for Cabernet).  The final wine is 68% extended maceration and 32% what was pressed at dryness, with the majority of the wine aged in 600 gallon foudre.

Blend of co-fermented Zinfandel, Grenache, Mataro, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet and Tempranillo from vineyard that is Sonoma Coast.

Gorgeous Zin with a fresh rip blackberry, boysenberry, bramble and spice character.

Blend of two vineyards located on Schmiedt Road in Lodi.
It's predominately from Katushas’ along with a quotient from the excellent Kirschenmann Vineyard located on the other side of road
