A tasty baby, but check back in 5 or 10 years.

Disappointing. Tasted like worcestershire sauce.

Very nice. Lots of dough smell on the pour, light and refreshing with just a hint of sweetness on the finish. My new favorite house NV.

Very nice for a $12 pinot. A simple quaffer, but excellent QPR.

Nice QPR wine. Some variation from bottle to bottle, but today's was excellent.

Based on previous tasting notes, it seemed to be a crap shoot whether this wine would be drinkable. We opened it to celebrate my daughter's 32nd birthday, and what a pleasant surprise. I stood the bottle up for a week, and it decanted very cleanly. An elegant aged Bordeaux with a tantalizing mixture of soft fruit and earthy mushroom. Just a hint of tannin left. I'm not sure it will get any better -- drink up!

Fairly unimpressive on day 1, although the deep hue was noteworthy. It really opened up the second day. Brown sugar, blackberries, and a lovely mouthfeel and finish with a hint of pepper. Not quite a 96 pointer for me, but a very, very nice QPR wine.

After 30 minutes air time, this was ready for business. Molasses aroma, elegant fruit with a balancing acidity. Very nice!

Picked up on a whim at the supermarket. Popped and poured -- green and tannic. A bit of fruit tried to peek out, but was only mildly successful. Did not improve after 24 hours of air time. Down the drain with you!

This was recommended to me as a QPR Burgundy. Not bad, it was best on day 3 after opening. More fruit and a nice perfumey nose. It certainly has the stuffing to go a few years.

Awful. Did not improve on second day. Sour, bitter, with no vestige of fruit. Down the drain!

85 may be generous. What a disappointing bottle (variation?)- by far the worst Loring I've tasted. Hot, bitter, and little fruit. Didn't improve much on day 2.

Most likely my fault for being impatient. I wanted a pinot this evening and grabbed this one, although it was only delivered a week ago. Muted nose and just a hint of fruit. Short finish. WAIT a few months!

While decanting, a huge, pleasant fragrance of sweet vanilla bean ice cream. An hour later, this wine is singing. Nice dark fruit, vanilla, and an unusual cedary note. The cedar lingers on the medium finish.

I love this wine. BIG concentration of cherry and strawberry fruit on the nose and palate immedaitely after opening. After a couple hours in the decanter, the fruit is balanced by a pleasant dustiness and smoky notes.

What a fun wine. Upon first taste, an hour after decanting, it seemed like a typical, soft merlot. Au contraire! The finish displayed some nice tannins and a slightly bitter hint of espresso and dark chocolate. Day two, this baby really strutted. It still had the same features as before, but the nose really opened and displayed a gamut of primary fruit and chocolate. A very pleasant raisiny note on the long finish.

Wonderful nose, lots of cherry and strawberry fruit. Long finish, but had a bitter note. I'll definitely wait a while before opening another.

Decanted for 1.5 hours before first taste. This was like Cab lite. Thin, watery, little flavor. An hour later, it had opened up considerably. Decent QPR.

This wine is near to a religious experience, as it was like drinking a heavenly cloud. Just unbelievably lush, complex, and sensuous. Creme brulee, lemon, cinnamon, tropical fruits -- every sip was another facet of a flawless gem.

Well-integrated, lovely wine. Very nice right from opening, and opened up beautifully over a seven hour period. Light, dusty tannins, subtle fruit, smoke, tobacco.

Fruity nose, and ruby color. Started a bit hot, but softened within 30 minutes of opening. Plum, cherry, and licorice flavors. A nice zin.

Sampled during a Bordeaux wine tasting. Very dark, dense color. Extremely tight 6 hours after opening, with a slightly musty nose. It really started to open up after 9 hours. The fruit came forward on the nose and palate. We finished the bottle, but I suspect it would have improved even more on day 2.

I opened a bottle after reading a positive TN at the WA board. Poured a glass, and tasted it immediately, one hour, and two hours. A somewhat tannic, slightly hot, meaty monster with very heavy mouthfeel. It smoothed out considerably by hour two.
Vacuvined the remainder, and tried it again the next day. Much softer on day two, with less meat and more fruit coming forward. Still a nice tannic backbone to it, though. For me, that was the peak for this bottle. I finished it on day two, and the structure had disintegrated.
