Pure aromas and flavors, complex, long. Just a touch oaky for my taste, but overall very enjoyable.

I am not sure which way it will go with more aging …

Smooth and round, light and elegant. Neither very complex, nor long, yet very attractive.

Seems in good shape to drink now.

Too young to drink now. Seems like a good potential here, but I will wait for 5 years before opening my next bottle.

Surprisingly, too much oak, almost a California style chardonnay.

But it may integrate and develop nicely in a few years …

A solid, well-balanced, round Pommard that is delicious and may have reached its peak. Needs quite a bit of time to open up, improved on the second day.

One negative for me, not necassirily for thee: seems a bit high on alcohol, tasted above its 13.5% indication.

Overall, an overachiever, surpassed my expectations by a mile.

Expressive nose. Delicious sous bois flavors, very well balanced, long.

A joy from start to finish.

Expressive nose. Citrus fruit aromas, acidic balance, intense and long on the mouth.

It took an hour to open up. I wonder if it will keep improving with so much acidity.

A beautiful wine.

Not much of a nose.

On the mouth, fresh and intense, delicious pinot flavors. Yet one-dimensional and surprisingly short.

Very drinkable now, although may improve in a couple years.

Very good, but not exciting. Representative of the vintage, the wine lacks ultimate power, but is unable to run far on perfume, complexity, elegance, and other soft skills.

Ready to drink.

Maybe more Michel Gros than Chambolle.

This Fonteny has finally arrived ... Looks like I wasted most of the case drinking it too early.

Elegant, well balanced, long. With typical Gevrey aromas and flavors. A complete wine in GC territory even if lacking in ultimate power and complexity.

It is the first time I really like this wine -- pure clean flavors and good balance. Still, it may benefit from another couple years in the cellar.

This wine is well over the hill: deep yellow, almost orange color; modest nose; attractive dried fruit aromas; long, but lacks vibrancy.

Excellent, archetypical Mersault, easily above a village’s level.

2014 B’dy whites are off the charts.
