Crisp, citrus, balanced but leaning acidic. Excellent PQR, will buy again.

I think that it needed more air time, it was good, but norm transcendentally good.

I’m not sure what more you could want from a Rioja. About an hour of decanting really made it blossom. Wonderful balance, subtle herbal nose some mint and pine, with notes of braised vegetable. The mid palette opens really wide and lingers for a long time. I like this wine.

As it breathes it really opens up and presents as a wonderfully elegant and balanced experience with lovely secondary and tertiary aromas and flavours.

Perfectly balanced and weighted. Excellent use of oak Perfectly in check with the fruit. Lovely nose of Apple, pear and lemon curd. Lively zing of acid to finish.. Amazing.

Sweet garbage. No character, weak structure, cloying sweetness, faint acidity. Complete rip off. Avoid at all costs.

Red brick through and through. Dehydrated berry fruit and cedar on the nose. Fruit on the decline, but still firm with tannins. Drier than usual, this vintage is coming to an end, starting to experience bottle-to-bottle variability. This one is still good, but it’s on the downhill..

Faint soft nose of melon and honey, soft viscous entry dominated by wood. It’s plumped up since the first time I tried it, and the midsection is more in keeping with what I expect from a Viognier, but there is an absence of fruit notes and there’s just too much wood influence.

What a wonderful unique wine. I have no experience or knowledge of this grape, and I liked it. Mid-weight, food ready, but enjoyable on its own. Great effort.

Perfectly balanced Plavac Mali made in an elegant style, less powerful but more poised. The nose reminds you of Bordeaux, plum is on there as it should be, the tannins are very fine and peppery, the acid gently cleanses the palette, but not briskly. Top of the line from one of the top producers, only made during exceptional vintages.

Aggressive tannins, good acidity, but very primary fruit, and a bit hollow. I think this one has the structure to sit quite a bit longer. Might be worth it, only a tonne of air time made it better. I think I’ll give it time..

Not what I’m looking for in a rosé.. Lacked fruit, too woody. Not a great review, but not a great wine.

OK, but a bit disjointed and out of balance. Really primary nose and entry, some good tannins, and then very bright acidity, but somehow they just don’t quite play nice together yet.. Not sure what to make of it.

Very similar to the last time I had it, with perhaps more integration and smoother transition from entry to finish. Very memorable.

Not as impactful as the first time I had, but truly quite excellent. I’m sad that this is my last bottle. Restrained and excellent balance of oak and fruit. Just enough acidity to make it all interesting. This started my love affair with Liquidity.

Very good, but not great. Soft in spite of its youth, and not memorable versus its 2009 sibling consumed at the same time.

Really peaking right now, very glad to have had it. It was an extravagance but worth experimenting versus the 2018, which it soundly thrashed.

If you have any, do yourself a favour and drink it now.. Best Okanagan Syrah I’ve ever tasted.. Woody cooked fruit nose, whiff of menthol and baking spice. Luxurious and soft mouthfeel. Just the slightest lingering hint of tannins, but very soft. Lingering gentle finish. Just spectacular.. 8 years is a great period of time for Okanagan wines the way my cellar behaves..

I found this hollow, too light, and lacking finish. Unpleasant perfume dominates the nose. This is unlike the typical BC style of viognier I’ve known and grown to love. Disappointing.

Pop and pour analysis (5:16): Deep oak, menthol, and cherry on the nose. Wide and expressive. Nice deep purple colour. Dry and tart entry, gentle but lingering tannins, clean bing cherry acidity on the finish. Will give time to wake up slowly. After about 10 minutes a bit of funk comes out on the nose and the wine thins out but also integrates and becomes almost dagger-like and sharp. This will slice through fat. An hour later the balance is quite nice, but make no mistake it is bone dry, and dagger-like in its acidity.

It has settled into a wonderfully balanced and elegant Pinot. The fruit has muted just a touch and some of the more earthy elements are coming through now. Just great.

I’d say 6 years is the sweet spot for this wine. Some of the rough edges and imbalances from earlier tastings are all gone and the integration is excellent.

Not your typical Okanagan Cabernet Franc. Lighter in body and colour, leaner in body, more acidic, and drier than I’ve grown to expect. Odd cloudy aspect to its light colour. If you lean old world, you’ll like it. If not, it leaves you wanting more.

Oh dear this is good... The best of the Okanagan terroir bursts out of the glass into your nose. Tobacco, dark chocolate, cedar, and stewed fruit of mostly cherry. Soft tannins indicate it will likely last a few more years, and do a great job of plumping up the midsection right now. Lingering finish of bing cherry and leather. I love this wine.

I know this will develop with a bit of air-time, but even just popped and poured I loved the structure the firm tannins provided, the finish lingered, pleasantly and the fruit was just right. Great deal. I’d buy again.

Perfectly balanced. Nose of ripe berry, wet wood, and whisps of smoke. Gentle but expansive mid-palette, wood makes a more assertive entry here along with raspberry, the finish lingers with wood hints, bing cherry, and dark berry preserves. I like this wine.

Love this wine. Great front-to-back balance, just enough fruit to temper the still gripping tannins, and nice acidity. If you like overcooked ripe crap, DO NOT drink this. Save it for me.

I had a glass last night, didn’t care for it much, but knew from experience that it needed a bit of breathing. Today it was wonderful, expressive, chewy, integrated from entry to finish, and just a bit firm and assertive. Dark berry fruit, baking spice, and a touch of pine on the palette, grippy tannins and a long dry finish. I like this wine.

Amazingly well balanced beast from California. Just amazing. Soft dark fruit entry, lush expansive peppery tannin midsection which lingers for a really long time. Good acidity which paired beautifully with the grilled hanger steak. I like this wine. It was a gift, and man was it expensive. But super yummy.

Wow... The Okanagan in a glass. This is at perfection right now. Don’t wait another second. Tannins are totally rounded out, have plumped up the midsection, with plenty of dark fruit, dried fruit and other secondary and tertiary flavours on the entry. Nice acidity and notes of chocolate and wood. This is epic. Need a time machine to go back and buy another case.

Great balance of structure and acidity with a dry-tending entry which works well with fatty food. Great QPR. Gets better and better as it breathes. The next day it is simply amazing by comparison...

This wine confused me because it was a tale of two experiences. Freshly popped and poured it had a very simplistic young fruit nose and entry to match. Quite uninteresting. However, it took over an hour for that to blow off and it became an entirely different and much more interesting wine. I’ll need to give the next bottle more time and another chance. This score represents a bit of where it was and where it was going.

I used to hate most Australian wines due to their overcooked jammy crappiness... This is not that. This one spares the excessive fruit entry, has taught tannins, with good but restrained acidity. Some creaminess lingers in the finish with woody goodness. This is a crunchy big boy wine that surprise you with what it isn’t.

Ripe fruit and toasted cedar nose. More wood elements emerge with additional air time. Nice plump midsection of ripe berries, stewed prunes, and bing cherry. The finish is nicely bright and acidic with eh bing cherry tone carrying on to the finish. Very nice.

Wonderfully balanced, lovely fruit entry, super smooth tannins. I would not age this a second longer. Did not need any air time, actually diminished the longer it was open.
