After a 2 hour decant with grilled rack of lamb. First time trying the 07, seems softer than some of the past Mourchon grande reserves. Has a floral almost vanilla-y quaff as as others mention. Very smooth, but lacking some of the teeth gripping tannins of the other vintages. Delicious wine none the less. I have 11 bottles left - will try to finish them in the next 2 years or so.

Started off with some funkyness that blew off after 20-30mins. Had a smooth, red fruit taste, but really lacks any tannins or depth. As the night went on almost seemed to get thinner. Might be a sign it's past it's peak? For $15 worth it as a nice weekday drinker, but don't think you're geting a complex bottle of wine.

Maybe young, but just seemed like nothing there. Smooth and fruity, but no real backbone. New world style, none of that true rhone taste.
