Thsi wine has a monster nose with earth and green pepper. The palate is pure Cabernet and this wine holds its own against wines of two to three times the price. The tannin and oak should improve with some time in the cellar, but it is hard to resist.

The McGinley Vineyard shows the warmth of Happy Canyon with ripe red fruit on the nose. In general, I have like the 2007 wines from Sant Ynez Valley, and this is no exception. This wine could sit for a few years, as it has nice tannin on the finish.

Well balanced Syrah and great with any grilled or roasted meat. Aromes of black fruit, earth and a little leather are followed by a soft and luscious palate feel.

Southern Rhone style with cofermented viognier. The femine flowery viognier lifts up all of the aromas on the nose and brings out the dark berry and earth of the syrah. The taste of currant, pepper and earth blends well and the tannins have softened. This wine is drinking exceptionally well right now.
