You may get lucky; if the price is good then take a shot, but it wasn't ever a great vintage. You're more likely to have better luck with 1978 which has been pretty consistently good after 40 years; I always keep one eye out for a well priced 78.IIRC 71, 73, 76 and 77 were also strong vintages, though I don't have as much experience of those.
