Distinctive nose and taste. Earthy and smoky with big dark fruit. I love this wine. Goes especially well with pizza or a pasta accompanied by a rich marinara sauce.

Not a wine to drink by itself but it was terrific accompanied by Indian food. Fairly intense nose, fruit forward with a nice finish. Should be even better with age. And a great wine for the price!

Purchased on the recommendation of a wine store in the area we were visiting. Brought to restaurant and poured without decanting. We were somewhat skeptical but this proved to be a classic California cabernet that opened up nicely after about 45 minutes in the bottle. Big but nicely structured tannins.
