This was a great discovery in our cellar! The wine was drinking great. Smooth as silk with a lovely black fruit, chocolate, vanilla, and cassis flavor profile. It was even better the second day!!

This is a phenomenal cab that was lovely on the open. We sampled the wine initially and then drank it after a bottle decant of 4 hours. Very plush wine filled with black fruit flavor, cassis and a wonderful jammy mouthfeel (from the first sip). The first sips were a bit closed but still luscious; after 4 hours it was a "classic" cab - beautifully nuanced and balanced. For a young cab it great and not overwhelming relative to tannins.

A nice wine. There were lovely floral notes of cherry and and plum. As is typical of gamy noir's, the wine was light with a very nice acidity. I let it breath for about an hour.

This was one of the best wines we have had in the past few months (and we enjoy a lot each week). On the open, it was terrific and soared from there. After 30 minutes, the flavor profile was ripe red raspberries and a lovey over-layer of mocha chocolate. The tannins were resolved and the finish was very smooth and silky. It was terrific with Sockeye salmon. This was our last bottle but so it goes.....

Wow, what a wonderful journey down a superb sensory experience!! The wine was great from the open (we decanted it for 30 minutes). Lots of cherry, dark fruit and a "hint" of chocolate on the palate. The finish was satin-like and the back palate finish was long and lingering. Just magnificent!!

The wine was filled with nuanced citrus flavors and some peach/stone fruit, which combined for a very nice flavor profile. It had some heft to it...14.5% ABV.

We opened the bottle and let it warm a bit. It was spectacular with seafood paella. Lots of citrus on the palate, the body was medium and the finish was "medium", also.

The other tasting notes capture the flavor profile of the wine. It is drinking fabulously. We decanted the wine for 2 hours and started a dinner party with it (with appetizers), which was a big hit!! We then transitioned to a "heavier" white (2016 Rotie Grenache Blanc) and enjoyed it with seafood paella. We discovered that the red to white transition with these two wines was very well received.

The wine was fabulous. We bottle decanted for 30 minutes. Lovely floral notes and hints of rose petals on the nose. The flavor profile was filled with fruit, predominantly cherry and a berry bouquet with a hint of evergreen. The tannins had smoothed out and the finish was long and lingering.

Wow, this was a wonderful Chardonnay. Lithe with loads of citrus fruit and nice crisp "edge" to it. We purchased the wine during a visit to the Winery. The tasting room is wonderful. The wines are priced well and with the exchange differential between the Canadian and U.S. dollar ... just wonderful! Enjoy!!

This was one of the best wines we have had lately!! It fits the description of "smooth as silk"!! We had it with grilled lamb chops and it was sensational. Loads of red fruit flavors (raspberry and strawberry) with a very, very subtle pepper/spice note

We discovered this in our cellar along with three others--a great find! The wine was terrific from the first pour--pulled the cork and started enjoying it. It is spectacular! Apples and pear on the nose and on the palate. There was a lovely hint of vanilla/oak, as well, on the palate. The finish was long and languid! The wine is "drinking as good as it gets"!

The other tasting notes have captured this wine. Simply put, it is the nectar of the Gods!! And, I just discovered there are no more 2013 Rhys chardonnays in the cellar. Don't know how this happened....

The cab was great from the first pour. After opening the bottle, we took a sip to get the fill level down and then let the wine breath in the bottle for 4 hours. It was luscious and filled with black cherry, mocha and cassis flavors. The finish was very smooth silk. We had the wine with grilled lamb chops, which was a fabulous pairing.

To celebrate July 4, we popped the cork on this Rioja! It was spectacular from the first pour. On the nose there were sweet cherries and black currants. The flavor profile was cherries with a hint of black pepper, coffee, and cinnamon. The finish was glorious!

A delightful Chardonnay with a tropical fruit flavor profile; pineapple with a hint of papaya and lemon. Also notes of oak and vanilla - just a splash but definitely not a Chablis-like chardonnay. It paired beautifully with baked cod.

My wife and I enjoyed this wine very much. On the open, it was a bit closed. The nose was a bit of wood and funk...sorta typical of old world wines. When it opened, it was glorious! It paired fabulously with lamb root vegetable ragu (sans the tomato sauce). Enjoy!

We wanted to get a benchmark of this young cab. On the open, it was tannic and a bit "rough around the edges". After about 40 minutes of air, it started to open, and kept evolving for about 3 hours. After it had opened, it was spectacular for a young cab. It had a very different nose and flavor profile from a Napa cab. The nose was violet flowers and the flavor profile was blue and black fruits with a notable roasted plum flavor that coated the palate (after being exposed to air for 3 hours). Lush and viscous were other sensory characteristics on the back palate. Very unique wine. We are not touching the other 2015 QC CVR's we have for a few years.

The nose was very floral with violet notes. The color was amazing-a deep purple. The flavor profile was purple fruits with a nice tartness. This was our first gamay noir from Vincent but we will load up with more the next time it is available. As a subsequent edit: this wine is interestingly different from the cru beaujolais wines we have had.

The Bordeaux was very impressive. On the open, the nose was filled with barn door and loam aromas that gently faded away. We bottle decanted the wine for about 30 minutes. The flavor profile was spectacular--cassis, more than a hint of cedar and chocolate. The wine was well balanced, the tannins were gentle and the aftertaste was terrific!

This was our first Abeja Viognier and it was terrific. Loads of lemon on the nose when we first opened the wine. A bit of a wood that faded quickly. The flavor profile reminded us a bit of some Sancerres. The wine had a gentle acidity that was nice, as well.

Wonderful for being a young wine. After opening, the nose was very interesting; a bit of cedar forest and earth. Flavor profile was violet fruit, some lovely spice and soft tannins. By the way, we bottle decanted for 2 hours before enjoying. This is great "juice"!

A "hefty" chardonnay (14.8% ABV) filled with vanilla and, especially, oak. The oak flavor was very pronounced. Despite being an enjoyable chard, it was a bit overwhelming with a seafood bouillabaisse.

The Syrah was spectacular! I think a combination of the arctic weather we are experiencing in central Pennsylvania, the meal we had (stirred fried steak with sun dried tomatoes) last night, and how this paired with the wine accounted for this. The sensory profile is as others have conveyed. This was our last bottle of the 2011.

The wine is drinking fabulously well! We opened the bottle and drank through the timeline for it to "open" (about 30 minutes). A lot of very neat barn door, cedar and some "funk" on the nose. These dissipated quickly. Cedar, tobacco and lively fruits formed the flavor profile on the palate. There was a nice acidity on the back palate. Some of the earlier tasting notes reflect a young wine that is now in full stride.
