April 5, 2008 - Same great Zin flavors as previous bottles but a little alc. showing on the finish tonight. Still, this has been a great drinking Zin for me over the last couple of years. Last bottle.

September 24, 2007 - I'm a fan of M2 Zin, and I was excited to try this one since it isn't readliy available anymore. It was a full % higher in alcohol, and you could feel theheat, but it seemed more balanced than the '05. Big fruit forward wine, but maybe the age made the difference. It was smoother, and more enjoyable to drink.

November 29, 2006 - I have to disagree with some of the previous posters on this wine. I found it very good, with full body, great fruit flavors and nice finish. I have had the previous two vintages of this wine and this is the best so far. It reminds me of some of the Rosenblum Zins I have had and liked. Sure, it is ripe and a little over the top, but good Zin usually is.

November 10, 2006 - Removed from wine cabinet, let stand while temperature rose to about 68 degrees. Opened and served. First impression was liquid raisins with alcohol added. Let set in glass a while longer but impression remainded the same. The wine never achieved a balance. Neither my wife nor I enjoyed this wine. We did not finish the bottle. For my wife, that was unusual. She is a much bigger Zin fan than me. Have one bottle remaining which I will open soon to see if the issue was with the bottle or the wine. We have enjoyed the Syrah and Dos Arkies in the pastl.

October 21, 2006 - Opened not decanted. Sweet nose with citrus undertones; alcohol is the first thing that I notice and burns my palate. Not enjoying this so far.

Day 2: better on day two.

August 25, 2006 - Opened not decanted. Deep violet purple color; a little whiff of alcohol (16.3%); sweet at first with a thick, rich, well rounded peppery and spicy finish; evolves to a woodsy, redwood forest type nose with a sweet, dark and earthy essence.

If your palate tends towards sweet, you'll like this. A good, fun, and well made wine.
