Community Tasting Notes 3

November 25, 2012 - Nice mineral aromas, floral characteristics, oak and a little funk. Nose was decent, though not spectacular.

On the palette: Lime, mineral (maybe limestone), chalky brightness. Nice mouth feel and smooth texture.

Overall, a solid wine at the price point and enjoyable. I liked it much better than more new world style chards.

November 23, 2012 - much simpler than I remembered. Not offensive, but not great.

October 18, 2012 - A little simple in the mid palate, but much more pleasing than most other chardonney based wines I've had in this price range. Nose has lots of oak, but the flavor is very balanced with good acidity, tropical fruit(star fruit, guava) and tart apple and pear flavors.
