July 7, 2019 - Darkish in colour, it was energetic on the palate with biting acidity and almost a feeling of bubbles. The sugar gave it a proper lift, I would drink it with dessert.

April 22, 2017 - Adrian returns to Indiana (Andy's Place): Never having had aged Huet, I really didn't know what to expect from this wine. I got a strong sense of butterscotch and honey on the nose but it was quite dry on the palate where stone fruits were the major component. I found this very compelling.

April 22, 2017 - Liked but didn't love this - it showed somewhat thick and heavy on the palate for a Huet, with lots of ripe apricot and other stone fruit, some of those wooly/waxy Chenin notes, and more mature brassy and honeyed notes hinting at some botrytis. It's nicely balanced, but feels rather charmless and I get the impression I'd like this a lot more with some more residual sugar or in a demi-sec style.

April 22, 2017 - Indianapolis II; 4/21/2017-4/22/2017 (Indianapolis, IN): A very surprising wine -- I had really no idea what to expect going into this. The nose shows a surprising amount of sweet stone fruit, as well as a hint of spice that seems to have come from botrytis. The palate shows a very nice vein of acidity, which is the driver of this wine. The fruit is fairly dense and opulent and this is much fuller than I would have expected from a sec.

April 24, 2016 - Intense orange. Honeysuckle and maybe mineral nose. Refreshing acids, still! All around, quite delicious.
