  August 29, 2011 - 92 PTS WILFRED WONG. Hey, the guys from Bordeaux and the Napa Valley can learn from the delicious '09 MontGras Reserva Cabernet Franc; ripe, bodacious, and full of ripe fruit flavors.

  April 18, 2011 - Almost sweet. Minimal oak, medium to low tannin. Not to my liking. Drinkable for a weeknight table wine but would not purchase again.

  This is the second of 2 bottles from Bevmo
  
  The nose is akin to taking a bite from a slightly under-ripe plum with a bit of alcohol as well. Definitely some oak here though at this price point it is probably shavings.
  
  Not much acid at all, the taste rolls onto the tongue with dark fruits, blueberry and prune. There are light but sharp tannins, probably american oak. Not enough tannins to age but those that are there are sharp. Horrible amounts of vanilla and a detectable sweetness.
  
  This bottle isn't as much swill as my last one, but this still is not my kind of wine. This is on par with 2 buck chuck.

  October 22, 2010 - First time trying this varietal. Disappointing - minimal body, unappealing bouquet, overall flavor not to my taste. It's not undrinkable, but I'll be using it for a stew instead.
