October 27, 2012 - Would have guessed that this was a merlot on a blind tasting. That being said, it has nice cherry and blueberry elements, with moderate tannin and balanced acidity. A lot of fruit but not over the top because of the tannin and acidity.

August 4, 2012 - Not too bad for price. Have to drink this with food. Had with lightly spiced steak and was very good. On own not so good of a wine. Not as rich and bold as most Melbecs.

January 23, 2012 - The last bottle I had was much better. This one was a bit heavy on tannins which interfered with the fine cherry nose. Will try the 2010.
