July 31, 2016 - Did not improving as many cote du rhones do with age. Some acidity and rough tannins.
January 13, 2015 - A big, dollopy, fruity wine - dont go expecting any nuance here. Everything is turned up to 11.
April 22, 2012 - I've been getting through these bottles at quite a clip of late and they are consistently excellent. Seems to have put on a bit of weight of late as the wine develops in bottle - lots of ripe fruit with a hint of iron. Good, juicy wine that is pretty versatile. Will keep for a while, but really these wines are probably best in their youth.
January 28, 2012 - medium plus garnet. olives, game and forest floor over a base of red fruits. rich plum almost going to pruny. cherry and caramel notes with some time. medium plus acidity with good structure and tannin. moderate plus length with pepper notes shining through.
January 1, 2012 - Nice meaty, juicy Rhone for quaffing. Has quite a bit of substance to it and some heat at first. Peppery notes coming through. Decent lower end quaffer from an excellent producer.
June 22, 2011 - Kind of a flat nose. A bit of dust, soil, and maybe a bit of wood stain at the end. Raspberry is the prominent flavor, but some slight forest qualities. Very tannic and acidic. A bit messy overall.

May 27, 2011 - Opened and poured, this showed well but lacked some depth on the mid-palate and finish. This is at or around its peak.
May 26, 2011 - Animal blood, red fruits and provençal herbs. medium body, good acidity. Solid QPR.
May 10, 2011 - Good clean and round fruit, a touch o' earthy sandalwood
