  September 30, 2019 - Decanted for an hour and was absolutely delicious. Dark fruit with some minerality and integrated tannins. After a few hours started to lose some of its fruit so would do a shorter decant next time.

  January 27, 2017 - An eclectic mix of nice wines with friends (Pine Lake Trout Club): This drank very well and better than a prior bottle I vaguely remembered having. Deep ruby in color. The nose has raspberries, black cherries, soy sauce, and a nice mineral streak. On the palate, there is good fruit. A nice backbone of acidity. Cherries and dark cherries. Some depth and complexity. Good finish. Very nice. No idea, but I would presume this is nearing peak.

  October 27, 2013 - Wines at Chris and Renee's home. (Chris and Renee's): Purple in color. The nose has dust, plums and cranberries. Interesting wine. Seems like it is going to be big and then drops down a weight class. Nice acidity. Crowd seemed to like it.

  November 22, 2012 - Black fruited, sweet nose. Blackberry, green, earth, sweet cedar, sweet wood tannin. A bit hot.
