  July 7, 2022 - This wine is still tasting pretty good right now !! Nearing the end of life, I agree with my note of 13 months ago.
  The cork was perfect after over a decade in the bottle. I consumed this Pinot Noir over two days. Light ruby color with slight oxidation, clarity was medium. Aromas of pomegranate, cranberry, and rose hips, acidic flavors of bing cherry, red fruit compote, rhubarb, and forest floor with a medium finish. Popped and poured, this wine displayed great fruit on the first day, it was softer to reveal increased integration on day two. This age worthy wine may not have much more life left, I'd drink it now. The vineyard is named for an imposing, lightning-struck redwood that overlooks its hillside rows, the Monument Tree Vineyard is located at the northwest end of Anderson Valley AVA in Mendocino County and was purchased by Twomey in 2010. A great fruit source of Dijon clones 777, 667, 115, and 114 and a good winemaking effort from Ehren Jordon. I have no more bottles of this vintage remaining in the cellar.

  June 6, 2021 - This wine is still tasting pretty good right now ! Balanced on the acidic side, this wine needs food, especially cheese ! Drink now, it may be near the end of life !

  February 13, 2021 - Bought from Failla library release in late 2020. Think this is drinking really well now despite previous reviews. Structure is sound. Fruit is well developed. Some mushroom and forest floor. A bit of green tannins on the back of the palate which almost feel like they could even mellow a bit more. Have two more bottles and am going to HODL a bit longer to see what happens :)

  July 15, 2020 - Taste good, aging well, though not very complex. 14.1 abv shows a little warm. Good acid, red fruit core. Wouldn’t buy again.
