October 26, 2023 - Fully mature, bot doing much better than expected. Rich, spicy, local, warm carressing style, very much a Southern Rhône-wine, but not overdoing it. Keeps well on day 2, still, drink up if you have it.

    November 11, 2021 - Dark red.
Typical Rhône aromas of the warmer kind.
In the mouth, this still has a long way to go. Definitely sunkissed but not extracted. Racy tannins take over the early pre-maturity fruit and deliver a drying sensation, like the childhood memories of chewing the berries of Prunus padus. Long, beautiful, needs food.
    Cheese is food!
91 for now with good upside for the patient. I'd really want to try another one in 2030-ish.

September 18, 2020 - Medium dark purple color; perhaps a hint of brick at the edge, but one needs to squint to discern it. Violets, dark fruit and a hint of spice on the nose. Nice fruit, a little subdued perhaps but still clamoring for attention. Good structure, the tannins are very soft yet doing their job. Medium long finish is just pleasant as heck. Served with a lamb and vegetable curry, the match was divine. I’d also note I was concerned it might fade as the bottle stayed open; we didn’t quite finish it, and it was as fresh as ever the next day.

August 5, 2019 - still drinking beautifully. Dark red fruit is still clear and rich. Lots of earth, smoke and leather notes. Well integrated tannin. Lots of schmutz in the bottle.

-fully mature with features of the hot year but still retains some balance and elegance without being excessively hot or surmature
