November 26, 2017 - Similar to prior note, however this time nice strong aroma upon open, which decrease significantly after about 20 minutes. Medium to long finish.

The vineyard become famous after 1976 Paris Judgement when 1973 Napa Valley Chardonnay from Ch√Ęteau Montelena won 1st place, which contains 40% of fruit from the vineyard.

June 10, 2017 - Color: brownish red, looks like more ancient than the 2005 vintage
Smell: mostly oak with noticeable alcohol
    Body: light to medium
Taste: coffee, some red fruits, then a little sweetness as time pass
Finish: a bit on the short side.

March 22, 2015 - Thin. Brownish color. Strong alcohol burn at opening. Drink up, it won't last in the cellar
