January 1, 2017 - Late picked cote rotie on the nose, balanced in a full bodied way with a refined finish. Should last many more years, but drinking well

January 16, 2015 - Fortunately this gift was opened while I was still there. Drinking beautifully now but has more cellaring in it. Dark fruits pop on arrival followed by spice box. Full bodied / soft tannins. Will look to get more.

July 24, 2011 - Served with venison meatballs grilled over applewood, wild rice and quinoa pilaf, & mango chutney. This complex wine held up to the bold flavors beautifully, with intense spice, rich cherry and a touch of leather and stone. A really interesting wine. I'll save my second bottle to see how it ages.

April 7, 2011 - Drank over two nights. Lots of toasty oak on the nose. Intense flavors of meat, dark cherry and blueberry, all of which slammed into a wall of firm tannins by mid-palate. A promising wine that needs at least another 3-4 years to show its true potential.
