January 6, 2019 - Light to medium yellow. In the nose, it shows greenish fruit, slightly waxy (sort of lime peel), macademia nut, hints of soap, very clear and pure, crisp, but clearly made out of fully ripe fruit. In the mouth, it's crisp as well, chalky, the acidity is prominent, but round like in most 2009 Chablis, lemony flavors in the finish.

December 16, 2012 - This went well with baked chicken and couscous. There is a good amount of acidity and minerality. I am not sure about longevity because my wife and I finished the bottle within 2 hours. I very much prefer this over California Chardonnay.

November 13, 2011 - Nose full of fruit, sweet, pineapple. Taste rather sweet, lots of tropical fruit with fine chalky minerality of chablis, a bit atypical. In combination with food I had the idea that it was lacking some acidity.

June 7, 2011 - Patrick notes that the fruit came from an east/west facing portion of ‘Butteaux’ and that only Raveneau and he bottle a wine from this part of ‘Butteaux’. Picked early this wine is really quite nervy for the vintage. It has a saline, sea spray quality, is rich and the chalk laden finishes goes on and on.
