November 25, 2017 - Very nice bouquet and while we decanted it definitely opened up with more air. It had good berry tones and while some tannins it was smooth drinking. This bottle had a stealthen cap while it was almost 10 years old, I think it could have easily lasted another 5 to 10 years.

August 4, 2017 - This was a better bottle than the last one. Similar fruit profile with blueberry, blackberry and some earthy notes. Better balance on this bottle. There is good length. Absolutely in the slot for a Block 6. Again probably not the best year, but actually very drinkable.

August 17, 2016 - A typical Block 6 with plums, blueberry, floral notes and some cedar. Not the best vintage of this wine but fine. In the best years this can be outstanding, but the 08 is a little imbalanced for my taste. Still it remains perfectly drinkable. No reason why this won't last for a few years from here, however the imbalance in the wine is unlikely to disappear through time.

April 10, 2015 - Mini Verticals - Tasted Blind: Sultana, violet, blackberry and light oak. Red, rich fruit on the palate. Good length. Just lacking some spark to make it better than good.

December 6, 2013 - The nose is not completely closed, but it is reluctant. Rich and dark, with notes of plum, black cherry and cocoa, with hints of raspberry and olive. Smooth palate, with strong fruit and mild tannin. Not entirely open, but reasonably approachable.
