July 2, 2018 - - Brick color and aromas of cherry, fig, black pepper, smokey and oak. It's balanced and has flavours of black pepper, raspberry, black currant and cherry with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Decanted two and a half hours. What a wine. Great nose, the spice and fruit are still very alive. Excellent structure. The finish is still long, tannins are starting to mellow. Ready now, under ideal cellaring can probably go another 3-5 though too, the tannins will support that.
