July 14, 2021 - Excellent. Very similar coments to January 2019. Very savoury after initial fruit sweetness on palate. Juicy.

February 1, 2019 - Excellent, classic St Joseph. 13% alc.
    Colour: deep red berry, cloudy
Bouquet: pepper, rich plum fruits black olives, vanilla, violets
Palate: just as bouquet, very rich and full bodied, black coffee, leather, smoked venison, liquorice, uplifted acid, big soft drying tannins, very long finish. Superb style, ready now.

January 7, 2019 - From cellar, stored since release
    Single piece cork, no seepage
    #3646

Tasting very primary right now but developing in the right direction.
Nose of violet and a bit of black pepper.
Palate: tannins smoothing out over time and tartness subsiding. Red berry fruit still at the fore, with violets and a bit of savoury spice on the finish.
Will still benefit from a 45 minute decant.

    Drink or hold to 2026.

April 25, 2015 - Nice dark berrys, and Black pebber. Ready now but still nice tannins.

May 9, 2013 - Huge nose of raspberry, smoked meat, and black pepper. The raspberry takes over on the palate, with judicious smoked venison and pepper playing a supporting role. Nice mouthfeel.
